I guess that one poll that "disqualified" Ron Paul's votes, are basically saying, that the American public is too stupid to know how to take a poll? Or, they are admitting that Ron Paul supporters are better organized than any other candidate. Now, excuse me for saying so, but isn't that the very point at this stage of the campaign? In EVERY "poll" out there, even after this hatchet job "debate" that MSNBC did, Ron Paul is leading in "COMMANDING FASHION!" Well boys and girls, the "government" is now afraid of us, VERY afraid. How the media presents this in the next 48 hours, will tell the complete tale. Either they're journalist, or propagandist. We all know what they are anyway.

Pray tell, who is Ronny, Oops, Polly, Oops, Shogun, Oops, StrayGun, Oops, RayGandhi, Oops, RayBan, Oops, Reagan, Ron or Con?

Just kidding.

May Allah be blessed, Oops, praised and Ronald Reagan be raised from dead. Republicans need dead leaders, now that they are realizing they haven't got any live, Oops, alive left in the arena.

Call me pessimist, egotist, nincompoop, niggardly, Nworddeletedhere, just call me.

The best part of Ron Paul's message is that it requires and can only be bourne by an honest, independent, active mind. Right now, there is an awakening in America of millions of such minds, and nothing can stop millions of thinking minds joined by millions more every day at an acceleratnig pace. Socialism is dying. Human Resources are resigning and returning once again as Personnel.

Another poll confirming the awakening:

You Ron Paul Kool-Aid drinkers should have learned from the Ross Perot debacle. He is un-electable, NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK.
Sep 8, 2011 at 1:43 PM | Unregistered CommenterKnarfster
Sorry to say Knarfster, but we are not voting for Ron Paul because he fooled us. We are voting for Ron Paul because he represents our principles. Tens of millions have been awakened to the principles of our founders: real curency, individual freedom, individual responsibility, and capitalism - not bribery, cronyism, lobbyism, corporatism, nation-building imperialism, and socialism. Do you think only one man, Ron Paul, carries that banner in America? Ron Paul has seeded the revival of a movement that will make the 60's youth and cluture movement look like Disneyland in the history books. I, and millions like me, will vote for Ron Paul to lead the Republican party to a landslide victory in 2012. We don't kid ourselves, though. While you might think it's just about winning an election, we know it's going to be years of superhuman effort to undo the damage of socialism and anarchy that has devastated America, and has edged the world to unprecendented turmoil economically, socially, and militarily. For the first time in my life, I am ready to die for a cause, which is to reurrect the legacy of freedom for my children. I think you will find that Ron Paul's supporters have a resolve and courage that hasn't been seen since the great wars. That means we will eventually go to war to protect our stuff from the ideaologies of surfdom, involuntary sharing, and collectivist socialism. You want our stuff? Our capital? You are welcome to offer yor capital in trade. We reject your threat to tax, enslave, imprison, or kill us if we don't simply "part" with some portion of our capital for being allowed to exist for you another day in your cowardly, lazy, morally, and physically bankrupt world.

unelectable? As opposed to who? A lying corrupt CIA puppet halfbreed British subject mason from Kenya? The banker's butt-y twins Romney and Perry? the wild-eyed zionista terrorist nazi Bachmann?

Seriously thats all thes epeople have, that "they know best" and push these sorry simpleton lemming sell-out "politicians" insterested in nothing but the pocketbooks and power of their masters.

Your slave system willl have to eliminate all of us freedom-lovers eventually, and we won't go down without a fight, count on it. You're winning right now but the world will wake up and we far outnumber you psychopathic weapons of the damned

"I, and millions like me, will vote for Ron Paul to lead the Republican party to a landslide victory in 2012. " ROTFLMFAO. I haven't laughed so hard in years! "Tens of millions have been awakened to the principles of our founders" really?! I wish this were true, but You are delusional. I really hope Obama is ousted, but I will also think of you cringing in the corner when Ron Paul doesn't even win the Primary.

Knarfster, Just think if Perot had been elected. Think we would be $16,000,000,000,000 in debt? Think we would have shipped our entire manufacturing sector overseas? Think he would have attacked us on 9/11? Think he would have started all these bullshit wars?

If Ron Paul is unelectable, it's because of mindless fools like yourself who believe all the bullshit the corporate media feeds you.

Laugh all you like, Knarfster. The least cowardly people on Earth are Constitutional Americans - and any human who thinks that way, anywhere in the world. One independent, thinking mind can handle a heard of 1000. A nation of 300,000,000 is no match for 10,000,000 independent, like-minded Constitutional Americans. But to think, we don't want power over you - in fact, what power can you have over an absent emptiness? All we want each is power over our own, individual lives. History advances in waves of blood, freedom, blood, and freedom again, towards civitlized capitalism and the recognition and defense of property rights. You want my stuff? You'll have to ask my permission.

The millions today who think like Ron Paul and like me understand that taxes and slavery are the exact same concept and differ only symantically. This is a slave revolt to end the theft of our work, property, and money through enforced taxes, and debased fiat money.

As to vote-rigging, one had better provide proof because I'm sure the larger websites implement monitoring so that one can only cast a single vote from any particular Internet connection. Are the Ron Paul supporters then running around to difference Internet connections to cast multiple votes? Maybe. But so then must be supporters of all the other candidates. Right?

Knarfster has a point. Where he is wrong is that there are millions who will support and vote for him. Where he is right is that the GOP will not allow him to win. They will rig the vote and prevent him getting in. The corporatocracy owns the GOP.

I am so happy that, finally, after years of being quietly fed BS by politicians, the MSM, big business, people are finally awakening, a new conciousness is surfacing in people, and it's a wonderful thing. I honestly believe Ron Paul will usher in a new age of prosperity and liberty in our country. The fact that the media and the status quo is terrified of him is the proof. He publicly talks about the dangers of a FIAT money system, the FEMA camps, and other things that millions of people know about, the "elephant in the room" so to speak, but don't say anything about because they are servants of the system. The other candidates are bought and paid for by special interests, corporations, secret societies (the bilderbergs), and people are finally realizing it! To say he can never win.. lol. I'm sorry, but you're wrong, and here's why; the more "media blackout" and "negative press" Ron Paul gets, the more the bees' nest gets rattled, and as an inverse result, the more attention he will get from his followers and people like Jon Stewart blowing the whistle. That is the way the momentum is shifting, and there is nothing the status quo can do about it. He has the most loyal and righteous followers out of ANY candidate, and they will FIERCELY defend him. They realize that we cannot sustain our economical and social structure for very much longer, with the way things are now. They recognize this fact, which I have taken from the Grapes of Wrath;

"And the great owners, who must lose their land in an upheaval, the great owners with access to history, with eyes to read history and to know the great fact: when property accumulates in too few hands it is taken away. And that companion fact: when a majority of the people are hungry and cold they will take by force what they need. And the little screaming fact that sounds through all history: repression works only to strengthen and knit the repressed."

Ohhhhhh, Knarfster! What a bad call!!!!

Ron Paul is quite electable, thank you very much. He's in a dead heat with Obama according to Rasmussen polls; in August, in July, and even as far back as April 2010! BTW, while straw polls are not scientific, Rasmussen polls are ... with +/- 3% at a confidence level of 95%. (Rasmussen's URLs are long; if they don't pop up, try copying the link locations and pasting them into your browser.)

Obama’s 39% to Paul’s 38% in August 2011 (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/obama_39_paul_38)

Obama’s 41% to Paul’s 37% in July 2011 (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/obama_41_ron_paul_37)

Obama’s 42% to Paul’s 41% in April 2010 (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/election_2012_barack_obama_42_ron_paul_41)

And LOOK! http://www.facebook.com/TownhallStrawPoll?sk=app_186981981345123

Here's Ron Paul again consistently in the lead ALL YEAR LONG at Townhall.com Presidential Straw Poll (http://RepublicanStrawPoll.com/). Ron Paul placed FIRST in July and June! And actually if one removes (at the time) unannounced candidates from the poll, Ron Paul won EVERY MONTH (except January ... 2nd behind Mitt Romney, and then in May ... 2nd behind Herman Cain).

And ... http://RepublicanStrawPoll.com/ has had at least 75,358 participants, according to their LIKE rating on Facebook.

Geeee, Knarfster. Things ain't looking to good for ya now, are they?

About polling & the question of deliberate 'rigging':

First of all, I would not look only to mainstream media/TV shows for your polling questions. The Gallop poll, e.g., and others similar are actual polling organizations (not "news" org.s, or 'mainstream media'). Polling orCICH 2012!
gs are much more reliable & highly regarded because they are more scientific and extensive-- but because of that, it takes them longer to do their polling. That's why you don't see them putting up any instant results on this recent debate.

Yes, the mainstream media is ignoring straw poll results where Ron Paul is concerned, that much is indisputable. These media people have become self-important entities unto themselves. They do not fact check, and if they do, they spin the facts into half-truths and beyond. If this country fails AGAIN to rise up against the clearly corrupt status quo, there is blood on the hands of the mainstream media too-- NOT just on the corrupt powers that be or the 'lazy' 'sleepy' voters of America.

And, btw, about voting, esp @Knarfster here, you are sounding like one of those people who votes for 'lesser evil'. THAT kind of thinking is what has gotten us into this mess. Ron Paul supporters with vote for Ron Paul whether he's on the ticket or not. And we do NOT apologize. If Ron Paul does not get the nomination, it will be because of people like you, who buy into this 'unelectable' crap, and who therefore are voting based on how mainstream media tells you to vote. I've heard people say that to vote for someone who is not a mainstream media/party darling is to throw away a vote. Well I completely disagree. In my opinion, a vote for 'lesser evil', is still a vote for evil, and has never come to any good. THAT 'lesser evil' vote is a throw away vote. You may as well vote for Hitler.

As to this recent debate polling & the question of deliberate 'rigging' there:

Yahoo: I don't know about Yahoo polling practices, except that I can't find the Yahoo 7 Sept. 2011 Reagan Library debate poll now-- did they take it down? And if so, why?? I have a screen shot of it, and as of 8 Sept. at 4am, the Yahoo poll showed Ron Paul winning w/35%, Perry 2nd w/24%, Romney in 3rd place w/18%, Huntsman 7%, Cain&Gingrich tied w/5%, Bachmann 4% & Santorum in last place w/2%.

NBC: The MAIN NBC First Read poll-- the one done by the people who hosted the 7 Sept. Reagan Library debate w/Politico, has by far the most participants & clearly shows Ron Paul as a landslide winner; also true in every previous debate so far-- May, June & August debates--Ron Paul won in those too, by far. It is certain& confirmed & you can still go look at it, that the MAIN NBC First Read poll bar graph is DECEPTIVE--deliberately? Probably so, because they were called on it, after which complaints they eventually did adjust it somewhat but they still by no means fixed it-- their bar graph still is nowhere near matching the numbers it is meant to visually reflect-- it is still an obvious visual MISrepresentation: the numbers clearly show Ron Paul as the landslide winner w/58.7% (128,557 votes) and Romney in DISTANT 2nd place w/14% (30,681 votes), BUT the accompanying bar graph shows Romney's 14% bar as HALF of Ron Paul's 58.5% bar. (Obviously, half of 58.7 = 29.35; 14 is not even 1/4 of 58.7, yet the bar is at the halfway point.)

(btw, Bachman is out on all the Reagan Library debate polls I've seen-- getting low single digits, usually with only Santorum behind her.)

FOX: Fox Nation's poll the last time I saw it had Ron Paul winning, but not by much, w/29.44% & Perry close behind w/28.04%, Romney distant 3rd w/10.92% very close to Gingrich w/10.07%, Cain 5.02%, Bachmann 2.36%, Huntsman 1.35%, Santorum 0.59%, and they are the only ones I've seen that have a "Didn't watch" option--12.16%. BUT, on the FoxNews O'Reilly Factor main page they have a poll that is still open for voting, which they call "No Spin Poll". It is not a debate poll. The "No Spin Poll" question there is: "Who is the strongest GOP presidential candidate at the moment?". There is no indication of when they first opened this poll, but the poll only gives you three options, in this order: Bachmann, Romney or Perry. Everybody else is DISCLUDED entirely from this Fox "No Spin Poll". Again, it appears that it is still open for voting, but as of 11 Sept, the RESULTS so far are: Bachmann 10.06% (6.013 votes), Romney 41.11% (24,585 votes), and Perry holding first place w/48.83% (29,202 votes).

So, Rigging? I'd say YES to rigging on the NBC First Read due to their woefully inaccurate & visually very deceptive bar graph; and YES to SPIN on the Fox O'Reilly so called "No Spin Poll", because it only allows us the 3 choices, with the biggest loser at the top of the list, (& it is not alphabetical), so, here again, the media presumes to mis-define or redefine a 'top tier' or the 'electable' contenders for us & we don't even get a 'none of the above' option.

Some online immediate polls are more reliable than others, as someone else here points out, because they have taken care to prevent 'cheating' e.g. duplicative voting. But, in general, the more polls you can find, the better, so that you can get a more complete/accurate idea of the results. You have to understand that there are many factors involved, e.g., the way the questions are formed, the number of people who are polled, the randomness of the samples, repeatability, etc., all these factors come together to make a poll more or less scientifically reliable. Where the pollers are most legit, they will say "This is NOT a scientific poll", and where it IS a scientific poll, legit pollers will display the margin of error, and other details about who was polled, etc., if not somewhere near the poll itself, somewhere on their site they will explain their polling precedures. (3% margin of error is excellent, but anything from 3 to 5% margin of error is considered statistically good).

PAUL/KUCINCH 2012!

PS: hmmm, Sorry, I have no idea how it happened, but that first bit of my post should not have that "CICH 2012!" injected there. It should read "Polling orgs are much more reliable..." Thanks to all, & to the Daily Bail for the info & comments!
Sep 11, 2011 at 6:36 AM | Unregistered CommenterWay2Liberty
Also, about the idea that only Ron Paul supporters are voting in these polls, well, 1. as another commenter here said, that does tend to indication that Ron Paul people are more well organized and on the ball, and if that holds true in the primaries, WE SHALL OVERCOME! and, 2. I saw many comments at the various polls from Obama democrats, many of whom said "Obama won", but they voted anyway-- and I did not see a single one of them voting for Ron Paul. hmmmm, I wonder why that is? Clearly they DO NOT want Obama to have to face Ron Paul! Now that's a debate I'd love to see. Rather, Bachmann seems to be their favored choice, by their comments, such as, "Obama won. I only voted for Bachmann because she was the biggest idiot on the stage." and "Oh, Please, RUN, Michele, RUN! BWAHAHAHAHAH".
