Ron Paul: 'The Sequester Is A Joke, There Are NO Cuts!'

Dr. Paul dishes out the truth.

'There aren't any real cuts.  It will do nothing to fix our debt problem.  The budget is growing automatically at about 7% per year.  With the sequester it will grow 6.9%.'

---

Ron Paul on CNBC's Fast Money late Friday.

Selected quote:

"It's just a fear tactic to raise taxes.  Heck, the Fed spends $85 billion per month all on its own.  The proposed increase in spending the next 10 years is $2.5 trillion.  If the sequester goes through, they will instead increase spending $2.4 trillion in the next 10 years.  It means nothing.  The budget is growing automatically at about 7% per year.  With the sequester it will grow 6.9%.  Let's just freeze the budget at 2012 levels, then no one can complain about a cut.  Don't be fooled by the rhetoric.  Both parties are against cutting anything in the military budget."

Different Story

An Occupy Wall Street activist was acquitted of assaulting a police officer and other charges on Thursday after jurors were presented with video evidence that directly contradicted the NYPD’s story.

Michael Premo was found innocent of all charges this week in regards to a case that stems from a December 17, 2011 Occupy Wall Street demonstration in Lower Manhattan. For over a year, prosecutors working on behalf of the New York Police Department have insisted that Premo, a known artist and activist, tackled an NYPD officer during a protest and in doing so inflicted enough damage to break a bone.

President Barack Obama has signed an order authorizing the government to begin cutting $85 billion from federal accounts, officially enacting across-the-board reductions that he opposed but failed to avert.

The Maryland gov is a complete moron who sold his soul to the Devil himself. He delivered himself cheaper than a crack whore on Eastern Ave. The dividing line on this issue is along the blue red line in this state. After watching this debate, it occurs to me that not ONCE did anyone in the state house ever mention where all this crime comes from, which is to say, from the very people that have sponsered this systemic organized destruction of our society. Christ, what a bunch of sycophants.

Interesting: the msm that completely ignored Ron Paul when he was scoring good results in the Primaries in 2012....now fawn over him as an straight-shotting economic expert they can't seem to praise enough?

Label me shocked....not.
