« Ron Paul On The Daily Show: It's Hard To Enforce Fraud When The Government Is The Main Perpetrator (Video Broadcast Sep. 29) »
Congressman Ron Paul with Jon Stewart from last night's Daily Show. Dr. Paul's only previous appearance was during the '08 campaign (we've added that clip inside) in which Paul annihilates Halliburton, and lest you forget, he's a Republican from Texas. Cojones grandes.
Here's a a neatly-transcribed slice from the Truth-Bomber last night:
- "My biggest concern is personal liberty, and uh, I’ve noticed over the years that both Republicans and Democrats have very little respect for personal liberty. Therefore, I have been fighting this and I want government to be small. If government is big you have less personal liberty. You have to find out how they finance big government. They tax us a lot, but that’s not enough to pay the bills. They borrow a lot, but that’s not enough. Then there’s another method, and it has to do with the FED. They have this little thing called the counterfeit machine. They just print the money when they need it. You and I would go to jail if we did that. But the fed does that in secrecy and they get away with it and the government just keeps growing. And then, on top of that, they use this to finance these wars that I think are so ridiculous. You know, undeclared wars, endless wars, good wars, long wars, all kinds of wars with no end in sight. So I put a lot of blame on the FED because they monetize this debt. They literally take a bill and print the money."

Dr. Paul and Jon Stewart from the '08 campaign. Halliburton gets slammed, and Paul is a Republican from Texas. That takes cojones. Seriously, how can you not like this guy.

Two weeks ago, the company ordered dealers to inspect all cars for mismatched floor mats after a fatal crash in late August, in which an occupant of a runaway 2009 Lexus ES called 911 to report a stuck accelerator pedal and non-functioning brakes.
Four occupants died when that car subsequently crashed, rolled over, and burned. The cause of that crash was suspected to be an accessory floor mats fitted at the dealership that were too large for the vehicle.
Toyota has reportedly agreed to recall up to 3.8 million vehicles to check for the problem; it will be the biggest recall in the company's history. The vehicles affected are:
* 2007-2010 Toyota Camry (sedan)
* 2005-2010 Toyota Avalon (sedan)
* 2004-2009 Toyota Prius (hatchback)
* 2005-2010 Toyota Tacoma (pickup truck)
* 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra (pickup truck)
* 2007-2010 Lexus ES350 (sedan)
* 2006-2010 Lexus IS250 and IS350 (sedan)

They're scared and on the run...we want more than names...we want data on types of collateral they've accepted...this is what they don't want us to know......
Read the book--it is fantastic! It explains everything in easily understandable terms.
