Rick Santorum Hates Ron Paul's Libertarian Ideas

Pretty decent mash-up clip exposing the truth about Rick Santorum.

Former-Senator Rick Santorum has the only consistently anti-libertarian platform in the race. He explicitly rejects Constitutionally limited government, an individual right to freedom, equal rights, the right to the pursuit of happiness, due process protections, a right to be free from "cruel and unusual" punishment, and is in general an open-big spending, big government conservative.

That he was even considered as a presidential candidate is an example of how far down Wacko Avenue the Republican Party has gone.

The thing that amazed me most about Santorum is.......that Glenn Beck and his crew of liberty loving, constitutional government demanding, freedom enjoying heroes picked this guy to support! This may be the weirdest political WTF of the decade. Either Beck is a total phony, which I don't believe, or ..............? Baffling. By the way, where is Santorum's guillotine?

Rick Santorum believes fervently, that government knows best, and indivual Liberty can be rationed and freedoms can be restricted by at anytime by simple decree by government. Santorum consistently makes the assertion that the constitution does not state that individuals have "the right to do whatever they choose, so long as it does not do harm to anyone else." My question to Santorum is, "where in the constitution does it list the types of personal behavior that is either acceptable or outside the boundaries of invidual and personal liberty and freedom?" The answer is simple because there is only one answer, Liberty is inherently personal and belongs to the individual, it is not transferable, it cannot be discarded or stolen, it is a devine right of man to think , to have concsious and subconcsious thoughts, to physically act out those thoughts, so long as he does no harm to others, or infringe on the liberty of others."
Santorum actually believes that elected representatives or other members of government have "SUPER LIBERTIES" and they have the right to decide what liberty actually means, and just how much of it is allowed to be possesed by the common people.

What we really have in Rick Santorum, is a would be dictator.

I personally liked Santorum making the 2005 and 2006 CREWS top ten most corrupt list with Maxine Waters...

Politics makes for strange bedfellows I suppose. Interesting how so many self alledged "freedom" loving people clamored to him as though he were a living God.

Dear Santorum you may be right about some of these Social issues, but that is what they are. Do you seriously think it is the governments job to make people responsible. If you think that you also think YOU get to define respectability and good. Often both the Right and the Left want to do this; be God and decide right and wrong for your neighbor.....
