Ricin Suspect Lawyer: 'My Client Was Absolutely Framed'

He Was Framed

What's interesting here is that the Ricin letters were all signed "I'm KC and I approve this message," which is the byline of Kevin Curtis.  So the person who sent the letters knew KC's byline and used it to frame him.

During a court hearing yesterday, lawyers for Curtis contended that he had been framed and pointed investigators toward James Everett Dutschke, a 41-year-old Tupelo man with whom Curtis has feuded. Like Curtis, Dutschke is a martial arts expert, a musician, and a Mensa member.

Dutschke was arrested in January on a child molestation charge in connection with the alleged assault of a seven-year-old girl at the tae kwon do studio he operates. In March, he was named in a three-count felony indictment accusing him of fondling a victim under the age of 16 (each count carries a maximum 15-year prison term). Dutschke, now free on bond, has previously been convicted of indecent exposure.

Thanks. I appreciate the kind words. I hope I haven't snapped at you or anyone else lately. The last 8 days are finally catching up to me. I haven't been sleeping much and mostly just working on the site, and getting tons of vitriolic email from people, it's starting to affect my mood and patience. I'm going to bed in a few minutes, and will try to get more than 4 hours sleep for the first time in a week. Thanks again and I'm glad you started commenting after a few years of lurking.

And I thought Mensa was only for smart people. The test must be just like the SAT's: Math, Verbal, and Nuts.

Ooops.

You mean the FBI arrests the wrong people based on manufactured evidence? I thought that never happened :-)

Hey, love the DB too - even if I disagree with your Boston coverage. No one's perfect and these guys (the FBI) are master liars. It's hard for normal people to realize how twisted they are and what they're capable of.

I'm well aware of the FBI's history of involvement in terror plots. I've been posting links to the 1993 WTC bombing case since last week all over comments. Check it out, it's a great piece.

Regarding The Boston Bombings

I have a completely open mind regarding the FBI's involvement in this case. I am reading and watching every single story and video out there, even if I don't post them on the site. I watch about 100 videos every day and read between 300-400 stories. Every day, all day long. Lather, rinse, repeat. I have to do it in order to run a good website.

I've seen everything related to the FBI in this case. The mother talking about the FBI and her son multiple times. The former FBI agent who spoke with RT about the case, although she had no information, and did nothing but speculate. I read all the alternative news sites, and have seen every single conspiracy video and story out there.

So, my point is I'm aware of all the issues in this case. And to this point, there is not a single bit of evidence I've seen that indicates this was an FBI set-up, or that the FBI was involved in the bombing in any way. It is in fact the opposite. The FBI wasn't watching him at all. He was on the Terror Watch List along with tens of thousands of other names. And that was all. After meeting with the family and Tameran, they stopped contact. I think the mother exaggerates, and she definitely makes a lot of bold, grandiose statements. You do know she was arrested for Shoplifting almost $2,000 worth of clothes from a Lord & Taylor last year or the year before. She is not especially credible in my view. And she hasn't seen her sons in over a year I believe. I could be wrong on that, but she does live in Russia and so she hasn't seen them much.

The uncle of the suspects on the other hand doesn't have an arrest record, has been successful in the U.S., and he spoke of the dramatic radicalization of Tameran in the past few years. He doesn't exaggerate and seems more credible to me.

Another thing no one is talking about, which I believe was a big part of the motive is that Tameran wanted to stay in Russia the last visit but was encouraged to return to the US by his family so that he could complete the process of becoming a US citizen. Well, it turns out his citizenship application was either DENIED or put on hold very recently. I believe in the past 3 months. It was denied or held up (can't remember which) because he was flagged for the FBI investigation and being on the Terror Watch List. I believe that was the final straw for him, and that was when he made up his mind to do the attack.

This is just my theory. But the citizenship application issue is real. You can find the link, just do a google search.

But, I will keep an open mind of course and examine every single piece of evidence that's out there. And thanks for the kind words about the site.

And tell me the 3 or 4 things that you think are the fishiest in this case. I am curious to see if we agree or not or if I might have some answers.

Here is the most interesting piece of news from today regarding the FBI in this case.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss

ATLANTA — A Georgia lawmaker revealed new information Wednesday that implied a federal law enforcement agency may have dropped the ball over the Boston Marathon bombings.

"There now appears there may have been some evidence obtained by one of the law enforcement agencies that did not get shared in the way it should have been," Chambliss said.
