Richmond Fed President Jeffrey Lacker on the $2.25 Trillion QE Monetary Fail

Video:  Dow Jones' Meena Thiruvengadam with Jeffrey Lacker, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, on monetary policy, economy -- July 9, 2010

His comments on the relative failure of the Fed's quantitative easing program are surprisingly honest.  Meena, the interviewer enunciates so clearly that I became upset at my screen.

Don't get upset with her. With a name like Meena Thiruvengadam you learn to enunciate clearly from an early age, just so you can say your name.

made me laugh...seriously, i'm surprised lacker could keep a straight face with those questions delivered in that manner...it was really, really bizarre...not to mention that she dubbed in one of her questions...somehwere in the middle of clip...you can tell it's a voice-over from a studio...she must not have been happy with the clarity of that portion...

"@DB as I said "Gandhi Style Civil Revolt" only the solution left"

With all due respect bro, but a 'Gandhi style revolution in AMERICA? HAHAHAHAHhahahaha.

Leave out the FASTING part because Americans are statistically among the most OBESE people in the world, with starting a DIET being option # 3,456 on their checklist of Revolutionary Activities to Initiate This Week. Now if we were talking about EATING in protest, that'd be a different story...
http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20100210/percentage-of-overweight-obese-americans-swells

Leave out the AHIMSA part (aka non-violence) because America is statistically among the most VIOLENT countries in the world, as noted on the Global Peace Index. "Y'all can pry my gun away from my cold, dead fingers" (I think that's actually Texas' official state motto!) would seem to suggest that non-violent non-cooperation just simply ain't gonna work par'ner..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Peace_Index

Leave out the BOYCOTTING part too because Americans are nothing BUT consumer machines. Plus the NEW iPod is coming out soon with the 'new improved-reception antenna' and they just GOTTA have one of THOSE.
http://www.globalissues.org/issue/235/consumption-and-consumerism

Let's see, what do we have left? Oh yeah. I think the American sheeple can DEFINITELY handle the LOINCLOTH-WEARING and SHAVED HEADS part. They'll be forced to do THAT part anyway once Goldman Sachs has them interned into debtors prisons.

AAAAaahhhh, the sweet aroma of 'change we can believe in".

I had to stop the first video at 1:07, it amazes me how easily and effortlessly these guys lie. I cannot begin to imagine a reality where they do not fully understand the effects their policies have had, continue to have and surely will have in the future if the zombies in this nation don't wake up and put a sudden and permanent end to usury and privately owned central bank cartels, so how can they speak as if they actually believe what they crap out of their mouths at us???
