For those interested, I spent some time teaching inner city kids in NOLA in the early 90s when Stone's JFK was released. Taught with Ebbe Garrison, Jim Garrison's son (represented by the little baby in the movie; and Ebbe has a cameo as one of the prosecutors at the conference table early on in movie). The crap he told me that happened to his family during that time (although he was a babe) is eye brow-raising, to say the least. Not saying there was a murder conspiracy, and the movie was over the top, but the crap that went down, according to Ebbe, was just unbelievable. Let's just say that we have not come very far from that time vis-a-vis federal gubmt...

And a little NOLA trivia for ya'll, to lighten up the day: who replaced Jim Garrison as the Orleans parish DA after Garrison's career was crushed post JFK trial? Harry Connick, Sr. , who sat as the DA for close to 30 years. You just can't make this shit up...

And the ex-mayor was just charged with a few felonies...

(CNN) -- Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, who captured the drama of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 with an "SOS" call to the nation, was indicted Friday on 21 federal corruption charges, including bribery, money laundering, fraud and filing false tax returns.

Josie--great stuff.

For a theory that the ESF was behind the Kennedys' assassinations, see 11:25 - 14:25 of this video:
