REPORT: Holder Considers Resigning As Attorney General

UPDATE - Holder is staying for at least another year

Holder returning to Covington & Burling in 3,2,1...

Just hit the wires about an hour ago.

---

BALTIMORE (CBS DC) — Attorney General Eric Holder might not be sticking around for a second term.  Holder told law school students at the University of Baltimore School of Law that he does not know if he will stay in his job.

"That’s something that I’m in the process now of trying to determine,” Holder said. “I have to think about, can I contribute in a second term?"

Holder says he needs to sit down with his family and President Obama to see if he wants to continue on the job.

"I have to really ask myself the question about, do I think there are things that I still want to do? Do I have gas left in the tank? It’s been an interesting and tough four years, so I really just don’t know," Holder told students.

Luckily for Holder, we no longer have the rule of law or we would know where his next stop would be...Leavenworth

Jumping like RATS from a sinking ship!!!!!!

Full text of Petraeus' resignation letter:

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position as D/CIA. After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours. This afternoon, the President graciously accepted my resignation.
As I depart Langley, I want you to know that it has been the greatest of privileges to have served with you, the officers of our Nation’s Silent Service, a work force that is truly exceptional in every regard. Indeed, you did extraordinary work on a host of critical missions during my time as director, and I am deeply grateful to you for that.

Teddy Roosevelt once observed that life’s greatest gift is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. I will always treasure my opportunity to have done that with you and I will always regret the circumstances that brought that work with you to an end.

Thank you for your extraordinary service to our country, and best wishes for continued success in the important endeavors that lie ahead for our country and our Agency.

With admiration and appreciation,

David H. Petraeus

I wonder if Holder is more worried about the Petraeus scandal than anything finance related? Turns out Holder and DOJ knew about the investigation on the Broadwell emails long before the recent election and made a conscious decision to keep mum until after BHO was re-elected.

Maybe he needs an excuse to spend his resources looking for Bigfoot. Deval Patrick, who I believe will be his replacement, will be adding another dollar (pig tax) on cigarettes.

Never did like Corona. I wouldn't know how much more Abi could have done to make that beer any worse. Maybe they could have tha people in the commercials squeeze avocados into the beer instead of limes. Or maybe have Madonna as a spokesperson for the beer, much like spuds mckenzie from years ago.
