Rep. Kevin Brady Demands Geithner's Resignation In Face To Face Battle; 'Mr. Secretary, The Public Has Lost All Confidence In Your Ability To Do Your Job'

Video:  Brady And Geithner Go Mano A Mano Over Crisis Blame

  • "There's a growing liberal consensus that you have failed as Treasury Secretary, and conservatives agree that as the point person on the economy, you've failed."
  • "Will you step down from your post?"
  • "Mr. Secretary, the public has lost all confidence in your ability to do your job."
  • "At some point you have to take some responsibility for your decisions."

Another clip that's not been posted here before.  Have been saving it for the right time.  Today feels right.  Brady annihilates Geithner.  No miss.

I saw only one salient point; "what post did you hold prior to becoming Sec. of Treasury?"

How can he place blame for the "fiscal decisions that created this" on someone other than himself?

I understand the logical perspective, "Physical harm is not the answer," but boy it sure would be fun.
