While the uncontrollable sobbing by man and woman alike in that lead video is undeniable comedy gold, there was yet a real tragedy Monday night, poignantly captured here:

BwwwwWWWAaaaaaaaaaaHahahahaaaahaaa... That's what 2 decades of institutional academic fraud--all perpetrated to prop up player eligibility on a 12-man basketball team--will get you. Now UNC will remain the video poster child for the agony of defeat at Tournament time for as long as it takes to top Monday night's buzzer beater.

Political Correctness classes have taught me not point out that Karma is a bitch, so I'll take a pass on that to observe another irony instead: the two most exciting buzzer beaters in NCAA Tournament history--until now--have been Duke in 1992 and NC State in 1983.

For three or four DECADES Blue Devil and Wolfpack fans have been hectored from on high about "the Carolina Way," a vast fraud (as it turns out) ripped off from the Divine Right of Kings which holds that UNC is superior in all matters academic and athletic.

Now we know that any Tarheel athletic prowess was the product of academic fraud, a fact that severs both legs of the absurd and indeed fraudulent "Carolina Way" propaganda. As a reward, UNC becomes the sole LOSER in the trifeca of thrilling Tournament buzzer beaters involving teams from the Triangle in NC.

Your comment and the Onion piece are a thing of beauty. As a UVa grad I have developed a respectable amount of hate for UNC over the years, but it doesn't compete with your lifetime of disdain for the tarheels. What is up with the trend of saying 'bias' instead of biased. I saw posts there saying 'the referees were bias.' I see that all the time now from young kids. Are they really that stupid.
