RAW VIDEO | Mike Pence Is Booed At 'Hamilton'

STAY CLASSY DEMS

Republicans have never treated Joe Biden this way.

After the show, a cast member attempts to speak directly to Pence, although there were reports later confirming that Pence and his transition team had already left.

As a long-time Bailer, I feel obligated to point that Jeff Sessions, Trump's choice for Attorney General, voted against TARP.

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=110&session=2&vote=00212

Not only will the U.S. finally have a cabinet member who opposed (and voted against, one of only 25 senators to do so) the bailout.

Since Sessions didn't buy Wall Street's horseshit Chicken Little story, it stands to reason that we may have seen the last of criminal banks' arguing their way out of indictments based on the so-called collateral consequences doctrine (which, having been invented out of whole cloth by Eric Holder as an employee of the Executive Branch, was never law to begin with). Even if that doctrine were valid, there was never a shred of evidence to prop up those arguments anyway.

What a refreshing concept: an Attorney General who follows the law instead of dancing to the tune of his Wall Street clients.

Time will tell...

Good recall on Sessions and TARP. Around the same time I remember this case in Alabama, which may have influenced Sessions opinion toward a bailout for Wall Street.

High Finance Backfires on Alabama County -- NYT

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In 2002, a banker named Charles E. LeCroy arrived here with a novel pitch to ease taxpayers’ burden. Some Wall Street wizardry, he said, could lighten their load.

Six years on, officials here are still struggling to untangle the financial web that Mr. LeCroy and his fellow bankers spun. Jefferson County is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy after a series of exotic bond deals that the bankers concocted went wrong, and the interest on its debts, rather than shrinking as the bankers had promised, has ballooned like a bad subprime mortgage.

Jefferson County was a crazy case. Actually, it was legally impossible. The Alabama officials who got bribed went to prison, but the people who handed out the bribes were only tried civilly?!!

JP Morgan did the bribing, of course, and it wasn't even limited to government officials. JPM also paid Goldman to keep its beak out of Jeff. Co. so JPM could bleed every resident dry for itself.

And yet no one at JPM was prosecuted. Unbelievable.

Let's hope that shit is over.

Yep they were all local..

Nearly two dozen elected officials, contractors, county employees, and bankers involved in the sewer bond deals went to jail for bribery and fraud.

Obama has been at war with Maine since the good Gov. LePage told him specifically where to go. Since then 4 paper mills have been shuttered, A large portion of the North Maine Woods has been designated a National Monument (land given to Obama by a progressive communist) and another very large transaction was purchased covertly by an "environmental' trust based in Florida hell bent on shutting out another 200k acres to the public. That wind thingy too is still not over yet...

Fisheries were closed "unjustly" to drive fishermen out out business in the costal areas where there is an ABUNDANCE of fish/shellfish that NEED to be harvested (scallops) so Maine has been getting it's teeth kicked in by the administration.

New Balance is one of the last remaining factories in Maine. Many thousands of jobs gone. I forgot about their stance on TPP and thank you for bringing it up. Much Appreciated!

Donald can't take the reins fast enough...

A couple of things. Does anyone find it somewhat disturbing that this musical is about slavery through usury? Jefferson's role in the first fed is pretty well documented on this. And as one of the writers of the federalist papers didn't he believe in a large central government? The irony is pretty rich, in a colorful way. John, the New Balance shoes are not all made there in Maine. I used to be a regular New Balance customer and the last time I purchased some sneaks, I looked pretty hard for a pair that were made I the US. I could not find a pair of them at all.
