@Anon People I talk to seem to be in a daze. They don't have enough info to carry on a general conversation about Global, National or Local economics. It would be a waste of their time. I already know everything. LMAO
How come he has fake smiles when no on else is smiling? Very weird.
BUT Mr. Geithner is getting at least half of what he wants - continuous bank bailouts. Sovereigns are being bailed out so that they can repay bank loans. He also wants them to execute stimulus programs instead of austerity programs. This he will not get.
The EU in its present form is doomed.
This meeting was the party before the storm. None of those "leaders" are preparing for how to manage a Greek default, which is inevitable and will happen soon. Adding a bafoonish EU government on top of an always corrupt Greek government was a crazy enterprise from the start, for Greece and for the EU.
The problem for him is that the others are representing nations, he's representing his false god, Obama. He isn't there as a policy maker, he's there to find out what the others are doing so he can crawl back to Obama and report. They didn't have to send him, they could have just send a functionary with a recording device. The world is not impressed, Obama and Geithner are not equipped for the offices they hold.
