Anyone have any idea what he's talking about with the reference to the $230 billion stealth bailout of Citi...It can't be the ring fence because that was $300 billion...Inquiring minds are curious...but these interviewers didn't ask a follow-up...the most salient fact in teh whole interview and they just let it slide by while they praise him...

Important to remember the pain that families suffer...
“It’s the politics in the United States that worries me, whether the Congress will basically feel comfortable” with the Fed withdrawing its stimulus, Greenspan said in a broadcast to Tokyo clients of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. today. He later said that “if inflation rears its head, it will swamp long-term markets,” referring to bonds.

Interesting to hear Free-Money AG talk his book...and attempt to rescue his reputation...
(ack! on CNBC of all places!) Take the poll at the end--"Should the Fed by abolished?" yes/no/not sure I just voted and the "yes"es are at 86%!
Here's another review by an Austrian school economist: http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2009/09/very-very-special-book-on-ron-pauls.html
If you intend to buy it, please do so now to help get it launched up on the NYT's bestseller list. Hopefully that will send a message to the NYT people (who refused to review bestseller Meltdown by Thomas Woods Jr. and who inexplicably employ that crank clown of a so-called 'economist' Paul Krugman). Buying the book will also help resend the message to DC. It's only $12.09 on Amazon--come on--while you can still afford it, haha!
