Ratigan And Ron Paul Discuss Bailout Transparency, Bad Collateral & Sending Bernanke Back To Princeton

Another outstanding clip from last week, broadcast Thursday on MSNBC's Morning Meeting.  Dylan and Congressman Paul engage in a free-flowing discussion of Federal Reserve transparency and Paul's bill HR 1207 to audit the Fed.  There is some mention of the possibility for collateral shock when the Bernanke balance sheet is finally revealed.  The Bloomberg FOIA request for Fed sunshine and Matthew Winkler's recent editorial are also in play in this segment.

Lets get TERN LIMITS on all our elected officials, 2 terms and you are OUT. No Relative to take your seat. This may stop the corruption in Washington. They no longer repersent the people, just lining their pockets or family members pockets with our money. We are speaking out against them now we are called racists and other names...No we are sick & tired of this ....mad as hell and we are't going to take it anymore. Ask my tv how I feel....it could give you an ear full.

Great post....term limits will HELP dramatically...it's not the perfect solution as the attraction to rent yourself out in exchange for a future lucrative lobbying gig will still be there...

Term limits plus some extremely aggressive reform of lobbying would be an even more effective combo...but I'm not holding my breath...
