Ohio Democrat Marcy Kaptur Rages Against The Bailout Machine (Video)

Okay, so maybe it's not quite raging, but she makes her points nonetheless.  We like it.

If you are bored today, why not call Treasury and tell them how you feel about things. The numbers are below.  Explain that bank bondholders must be forced to swap debt for equity and that the fight has not yet begun.  Then email this post to a friend.  It always feels better to do something.  Videos are after the loop.

Just in case you missed it, she said "banksters." Nice, Ms. Kaptur. That's sharp stuff. Pitchfork sharp.

Add one more. Mark Warner (R-VA) could be a bailout hero. Just told Geithner that lack of resolution authority was BS, that paying AIG's counterparties 100% on CDS is BS, that NOT asking for resolution authority means AIG will continue to pay out 100% on every contract indefinitely.

Warner said, look, we had a crisis in the Fall, but now we can resolve this sucker without a crisis. Geithner squealed, ooohh nooo, we have to give Goldman Sachs and UBS 100% on the dollar or .... or.... pension funds, life insurance..... little old ladies....orphans in the street....

In other words, Geithner doesn't WANT the authority -- at least not yet. It's all BS and I think the Satanors are starting to figure it out. This is really good.

Wow. Just as I was about to give-up on America and American politicians in general here I come across this woman! (Ron Paul excluded) Whatta lady! Sharp, articulate and righteously raged. She tore 'em a big fat new one while making me wish I lived in her Ohio district.

Imagine Kaptur & Paul as pres and vice (in any order)? It would be the REAL change we need ...NOT the incredible BS we're getting from this bankster Brack Hussein Osama. I'm starting to hate him almost as much as Bush in less than HALF the f'ing time!!!

I hear ya, GoKaptur! Time for real change. Time to dump the banksters and their patsies in D.C. Check out the Brad Sherman (D-CA) and Alan Grayson (D-FL) stuff on this site. Even old Jim Bunning (R-KY), my personal favorite, has been on the right side of the Bailouts.

Well said, GoKaptur!

Thanks Barry Soetoro, good work.

Barry, what do you have to say for your mistakes...

GoKaptur!

It's alright. That's what the bailouts (and everything else) do to people. You think you're f-ing looney -- you can't sleep, you can't think, every friggin' day is a struggle just to keep on top of all the financial and fiscal shenanigans -- but then you realize there's thousands of people thinking the same thing and wanting to do something about it. People are starting to wake up to the reality of both Obama and the bailouts.
