Chris Hedges, the lead plaintiff in lawsuit to invalidate the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), writes about the Obama Administration's furious efforts to appeal the district court judgment from Friday explaining the NDAA's unconstitutionality and striking it down.

Why aren't all the people who screamed for 8 years about Bush's constitutional depradations rallying behind Hedges and his victory? Could it be that liberals are just as sheep-like in their cult of Obama love as the Bushies they hate so much?

Yes, Cheyenne. They are psychologically wedded to their secular demi-god. He gave them all kinds of warm fuzzies from 2007-2009 and they don't want to let go of those powerful drug-like feelings. Besides, Republicans are icky and Obama says nice things about gay people. Lloyd Blankfein...? Who's that?

WilliamBanzai7's recitation of events during the year that's passed since Occupy began concludes with a plea for kindred spirits to keep up the good fight:

"When OWS was conceived and first kicked off last year, there was no MF Global fiasco, Jon Corzine was still CEO, no one knew who the London Whale was, Jamie Dimon was still exhaulted by the MSM as Wall Street's Mr Clean, Bob Diamond was still CEO of Barclays, no one in Washington knew what LIBOR was. There was no sham Fraudclosure settlement, no sham Securitization task force. There were, however, a handful of ongoing criminal investigations of Wall Street Banks...all subsequently terminated...."

"Remind as many as you can of the outrageous fucking fraud that continues to be perpetrated by the thieves in pinstripes and hand made brogues and their harem of DC Bitches."

By early evening Sunday 42 people had been arrested, 15 of them on Sunday, for offenses ranging from disorderly conduct to assault, said Paul Browne, chief spokesman for the New York Police Department. Mr. Browne said many of those arrested at Occupy-related protests across the city were from outside of New York.
