Obama Has Created The Worst Jobs Disaster In U.S. History
And the numbers aren't even close.
When Barack Obama took office in January 2009, the percentage of American who had jobs or were actively seeking jobs was 65.7%. That figure has plummeted like never before on Obama’s watch.
This jobs metric—the labor force participation rate—is the real picture of America's economy. The preposterously low unemployment rate is achieved simply by refusing to count the vast majority of 94 million Americans who aren't in the labor force as "unemployed."
Under the far superior labor force participation rate, which is based on the entire working age population (rather than the two-thirds politicians show you), Obama is by far the worst thing that ever happened to Americans’ job prospects.
Instead of focusing on jobs, Obama allowed the Federal Reserve to run hog wild in an all-out effort to prop up bankrupt too-big-to-fail financial institutions, quadrupling the monetary base since 2009. All of that money went to Wall Street and its foreign counterpart banks.
The graph above shows how the 12 presidents rank since the Bureau of Labor and Statistics starting tracking the labor force participation rate in 1948. What's astonishing is that the above graph vastly understates the corrosion in job prospects for Americans, as we shall see in a forthcoming companion post.

U.S. employers pulled back on hiring in April, adding 160,000 jobs, the fewest in seven months, after a streak of robust monthly gains. The unemployment rate remained at a low 5 percent, roughly where it has been since fall.
A former employee accused Wells Fargo & Co of instructing workers at a call center to refrain from telling customers about lost deeds or other missing documents, and of firing the worker who called the policy unethical, according to a lawsuit made public this week.

(2) Every working American citizen (Veterans included) born 1963 or earlier deserves the option to either collect their allotted/earned Social Security as is or receive a $1 million tax free separation buyout voucher if they voluntarily resign their employment never to be on any employer database again (millions of new jobs now available for other Americans), and never collect social security or Medicare; All remaining social security recipients will be converted to a Canadian Pension Fund style system, which is currently billions in the black as opposed to the American Social Security scheme which is trillions in the red.
(3) Every junior high school student (and Veterans' school age dependents) in America deserves to be networked with employers (especially those companies receiving corporate subsidies) who will pay the college tuition of that student for an employment contract equal to 2 years of college for one year of employment thereby sponsoring students for a real world school-to-work transition, eliminating student loan debt (currently over $1 trillion) and bolstering an experiential education with real world value and not an education that cannot be realistically utilized in the evolving work world.
The above mentioned economic changes are inevitable and when enacted now in 2016 will save America's economy, support her deserving Veterans, and build a better tomorrow and offer hope for all future generations to come.

Far-right conservatives have often accused President Barack Obama of "apologizing for America." They are going to have a field day with this one.
Obama twice called Americans "lazy" Wednesday during a Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) town hall at Souphanouvong University in Laos during his ongoing visit to Asia. The comments are sure to irk conservatives who have previously claimed Obama is being unpatriotic when he criticizes Americans while overseas or at home.
