Obama Gives Hu The Red Carpet Treatment - Meetings With Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein (Video)

Video - Next Media Animation - Day 2 of Hu's visit

On the second day of state visit, Chinese President Hu Jintao enjoyed all the perks of a visiting dignitary.  President Barack Obama and Hu met with business executives such Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer and Lloyd Blankfein from Goldman Sachs.  At a joint press conference, a question about human rights in China got lost in the translation.

The state dinner in the evening was a regal affair, with Jackie Chan and classical pianist Lang Lang providing amusement.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110121/ap_on_re_us/us_obama_economy

Obama is naming GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt as the head of a Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. The panel replaces Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board, which had been chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker. Obama announced late Thursday that Volcker, as expected, was ending his tenure on the panel.

Ge paid no taxes.

Jean-Marie Messier and Edgar Bronfman Jr. were found guilty by a Paris court of criminal charges related to Vivendi SA’s near-bankruptcy after a $77 billion acquisition spree while they led the company.

Messier was fined 150,000 euros ($200,000) and Bronfman 5 million euros by a three-judge panel today. Neither was sentenced to jail time. Messier, 54, was found guilty of misleading investors during his tenure as Vivendi’s chief executive officer. Bronfman, also 54, was found to have traded on inside information while vice chairman.

Hu would be proud of Rep. Peter King (R-NY), a disarmed America will be a vanquished America. This bill should be called the "Deprive your neighbors their Constitutional Rights cause you are extra special living beside them bill".

Lets try a novel approach, put criminals in jail and stop rewarding and giving chances to criminals. Nah, that will never happen. They will outlaw cars next because some people drink and drive before they ever do the right thing about anything.

Crime will be rampant, as long as crime is rewarded. Shleprocks gun was purchased legally, the local law enforcement failed by not heeding the signs that this moron was deranged and potentially dangerous. Mental issues already remove a persons right to own weapons.

Lets start with that, and criminal bankers...
