NJ Governor Chris Christie On The Today Show (VIDEO)

Video:  New Jersey first-term Governor Christie with Matt Lauer -- Aired July 28

Excellent interview.  Christie succeeded in closing an $11 billion budget gap (in a $29 billion budget) without raising taxes.  That feat alone has made him an early whisper candidate for the GOP Presidential nomination in 2012.

Closing a budget WITHOUT raising taxes? Instead of automatically considering him for higher office, I'd first like to know the DETAILS on how he managed to squeeze blood from a rock.

No government employee, State or Federal should ever have better benefits than private sector workers OR have higher wages than the median average in their State or if they are Federal in the entire COUNTRY. My income is MINE, not a unionized fat cat or a ridiculous pension for a loser who couldn't make it in the real world and CHOSE to be a teacher instead.
