MUST SEE - Phil Donahue On Ron Paul & U.S. Foreign Policy: "We've Become A Warrior Nation"

Video - Phil Donahue on CNN - Jan. 5, 2012

Just stumbled across this clip last night.  It's worth the time.

  • "How many bombs are you going to drop!  It looks like we've become a warrior nation.  We are dropping bombs on crowded cities at night where old people and children are sleeping, and we are watching it on CNN.  And the only voice that's spoken up in this campaign about this is Ron Paul."

The American people are sick of our war mongering government. Our Government has made us murderers, rapists and terrorists around the world. I believe we are steps away from seeing our government deploy these atrocities on its own people based on the passing of the NDAA.

Thanks Dar. I have always liked Phil Donahue, he is probably the best talk show host of all time. And he created the format that everyone else follows today.

Yes he did DB! I had posted this link in another link here where "Desertvoice" went on a bit of a ugly rant. LOL! I was hoping to help put into perspective what he/she perhaps needs to hear. I say perhaps. Trying to reason with some can be one tough thing.

For that my hat is off to you DB for sure.

Sincerely,

Oh I forgot to mention one thing that struck me about this video. The gentleman who is with Phil said "He has no horse in this race." I understand what he means of course being British. But my point is in the grand scheme, he in fact may. How many wars to we need in one lifetime?

Great talk though and Phil really is the original voice of reason when tele had a bit more class so to speak. Some of us were pretty young. WOW!

good commentary here, unfortunately the U.S. is already too 'gone' to save. the 'sheeple' are too dumbed down to stand up and overthrow the government, and that is exactly what is necessary to fix this problem of corruption. Thomas Jefferson said that
a long time ago that if the government no longer serves these ends (being LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS) then the citizenry has the duty and the right to ABOLISH IT.

nobody here is abolishing anything but their own sorry existences. and that's the truth.

GREAT clip! I've loved Phil since the 80's when I'd rush home from school to watch his show and see him running through the audience.

The last time I felt proud to be an American was watching the first space shuttle land in FL. - the year was 1981! The entire restaurant went silent then broke out in applause. It's an amazing feeling when you love your country, almost as amazing when you don't love your country (its policies and politicians). A modicum of dissent and you're label a terrorist. As Phil said: "This is not the country that my parents taught me to love and respect."

Phil Donahue is a silly old flower child, ranting as if the nation and world could ever be perfect if we'd all just gather 'round. He obviously has no notion of the cruelty of man and the relentless drive for power in individuals, for example, does he believe he could sit down with any nation's leader, or any religious leader, and change anything? He couldn't even do that with one of Afghanistan's tribal leaders or one of any city's gang leaders. Phil, you're old and out of touch, from the sound of your voice and speech you are not from senility, next comes drooling and incontinence and then every person you meet is a new and delightful acquaintance.

Vernon, Phil may be an "old liberal", but he is a very decent human being and someone I hold in very high regard. His groundbreaking efforts in the media are second to none and his wife, Marlo Thomas, does outstanding work for St. Judes Medical Center. I personally challenge you to present to me any other couple you would feel has contributed as much if not more to society.

Warrier nation my ass. We've become a nation of sheep ruled by cowards, thieves and murderers. They are committing genocide around the world, and stealing the resources and liberty everywhere they can be found.

I agree we are in serious need of population reduction -- eliminating the elite, banksters, politicians and Wall Streeters ought to just about do it.

Wow, Tony Wilson is really lathered up, I don't know how he changed the story from the old dweeb Phil Donahue to wanting me to go to war, Hate to tell you, stone cold Tony, but I'm hardly a chicken hawk, I've been there and done that plus spent 26 years in law enforcement at both state and local levels. I've earned the right to sit in my armchair and I hope that those young people fighting now survive and live long lives, hopefully long enough to sit in their armchairs. You really need to calm down.

Maine GOP chairman says Mitt Romney wins caucuses

http://bangordailynews.com/2012/02/11/politics/maine-gop-chairman-says-mitt-romney-wins-caucuses/

..... Read all the Comments, but this one meant with sarcasm is spot on....

[snip]

I have to congratulate State Republican Chairman Charlie Webster. With all the nebulous conspiracies about black box voting fraud and GOP secret counts working against Dr. Ron Paul, Webster's decision to call a snow day in Paul strongholds and having the gall to then say that Washington County won't be counted anyway next week, at least now all Ron Paul supporters around the country have a poster boy for the blatant undermining of Ron Paul and his supporters' hard work, money, and military service.

NOTE: People in Maine know how to drive in a little snow (especially in counties that were Ron Paul strongholds). This move by Chairman Webster was blatant and worthy of tar and feathers.

The votes haven't even all been tallied yet and Ron Paul was ahead as early reports had indicated

Ron Paul says Maine outcome is virtual tie

http://bangordailynews.com/2012/02/11/politics/ron-paul-says-maine-outcome-is-virtual-tie/?ref=regionstate

[full but brief article]

PORTLAND, Maine — Republican presidential contender Ron Paul says he wishes all the Maine caucuses would have met on Saturday.

The Maine GOP chairman declared rival Mitt Romney the victor in Maine even though several places in the state won’t hold their caucuses until next weekend.

Paul is addressing his supporters in Maine and telling them not to be discouraged. He says the momentum behind his candidacy will continue and he’s pledging not to go away. He also says — in his words — that the revolution continues.

The Texas congressman is calling the outcome a virtual tie, noting that he lost by a narrow margin and some caucuses weren’t included in the count.

FOR THE RECORD:

I have lived from birth to much of my adult life in Maine. I like to speak plainly and simply now and most assuredly know the players. Ron won without any questions, and I made calls to verify this... I have both served in the private sector and as an elected public official (county). There are times in times in ones life that clarity and most importantly, doing the right thing is more important then any outcome. I will uphold that as a personal (as I always have done) badge of honor.

More on The Maine Republican Party's Stolen 2012 GOP Caucuses - And How It Appears They Did It...

"....This is remarkable stuff and perhaps made more remarkable by the fact that this isn't currently at the top of every news outlet in the nation"

http://www.bradblog.com/?p=9125

[snip]

Despite the reputation The BRAD BLOG has gained in some quarters over the years, I don't believe we have everoutright declared an election as "stolen". That has now changed as the Republican Party of Maine has blatantly stolen the 2012 GOP Caucuses in their state for Mitt Romney, as we detailed yesterday.

That fact is just the latest data point in a remarkable and rapidly expanding spate of GOP election fraud by very high profile Republicans across the nation, as we also detailed in yesterday's report.

The question now: Can it be "stolen back"?...

End the ENDLESS UNDECLARED WARS [and, the FRAUDULENT WAR ON 'TERROR', which is an undeclared war on Americans]
End the 'Fed'
Restore Liberty
RESTORE AMERICA NOW.

Today (2/20/2012) is PRESIDENT'S Day. What better day for Americans to support Ron Paul, and his Campaign to Restore America? He can do A LOT, to return America to its former GREATNESS, but, he will ONLY DO IT, WITH YOUR (AND MY) HELP!
(I already donated $100.00 to Ron Paul, today). How about YOU?
