How a simple Boston Globe tweet turned into a bombing conspiracy.
It all started out so innocently. In the hours after the bomb attacks at the Boston Marathon (at 2:50 pm ET) police responded to multiple reports of suspicious packages. At least two were destroyed in "controlled explosions" around 4pm ET. The Boston Globe tweeted about these suspicious packages so residents would not be alarmed.

Followed a few seconds later by a second tweet.
Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities.

And that's where things start to get ugly.
How Alex Jones And Conspiracy Junkies Can't Tell Time
There is plenty to question regarding the Boston Marathon bombings, but this story isn't one of them. What you are about to read is one of the biggest FALSE conspiracy memes out there. I noticed Alex Jones' tweet on the day of the bombings and debunked it immediately here on site in comments. It wasn't very difficult to figure out how Jones got it wrong. It took me approximately 10 seconds. But that's because I know how to tell time.
Big freaking deal, you say? Here's why it matters. Ten days later, this false false flag story is now huge in certain circles, and is being used to claim the government planted the bombs. And the completely ridiculous video below has more than 118,000 views on youtube and growing, and as of this morning, exactly 78 people have sent it to me by email asking me to post it and expose the government.
It gets worse. I responded to every single one of the 78 people with a link to the story you will read below, explaining how the false conspiracy got started. So far I have gotten 31 responses. Of those 31 responses, a whopping 14 people asked me to post the video anyway in order to keep the false conspiracy alive.
This story is my revenge on those 14 unfortunate souls. I am following their wishes. And do not think for a second that I didn't write the very simple headline for this story in order to draw in thousands of conspiracy google searches on the false flag cover-up of Boston's controlled explosion.
Call me a lot of things, but unmotivated by blogging revenge should not be one.

Here are the journalists and websites that don't check facts. Read the first link and check out some of the comments slamming Mike Adams for being such a royal douche.
Worst of all, neither Alex Jones or Paul Joseph Watson of Info Wars, nor Mike Adams of Natural News has bothered to correct any of their stories, preferring instead to let this false conspiracy grow organically and take on a life of its own.
The youtube page for the video is completely insane. The unwashed masses of conspiracy sheeple believe it is real and are losing their minds wondering why the media won't cover the story. They have absolutely no idea the entire thing is false, because none of the them is willing to do any sort of research whatsoever, inlcuding something so trivial as a single internet search.

This story hit the wires a few hour ago. It hasn't been confirmed at this point and is directly contradicted by statements from the Boston Police Chief. I'm sure we will hear more on this today.
Question 1. Who sponsored these two guys. They didn’t just plan and execute this on their own. Someone showed them how to work the program. Also according to reports, the one brother was on public assistance. Didn’t he drive a Mercedes. I know you can get em cheap sometimes, but they aren’t cheap to upkeep. Even if you know how to work on them yourself. All I am getting from the reports on his skill sets are that he was a stay at home Dad who was a pugilist who on occasion would beat the shit out of his wife, who by all accounts was an American citizen, which is the reason, I suppose, that they were able to get some kind of social help.
Question 2. With the fine Senator from Georgia stating that the Feds botched the investigation, at what point do we find out. Shouldn’t there be some kind of shit hitting the fan now? The bureaus chief in Boston should absolutely be fucking fired for his complete and total negligence in this fiasco. Then after that they should fire HIS boss and on and on until they purge the system of these guys who ALLOWED for this to happen.
Question 3. Just why were the people escorted out of their homes at GUN POINT and treated as common criminals being pushed through a gauntlet of Kevlar wearing armed to the teeth shouting constabulary? Didn’t it occur to any of these sworn to uphold the law individuals take into account that there is due process and a constitution by which we are to live by?
Question 4. Why were our leaders, and I use the term loosely, as they are actually elected SERVANTS, on TV very loudly proclaiming that we needed MORE cameras, drones, and yet even more security even before the blood dried on the pavement. OBVIOUSLY more does not equal better.
People should be skeptical DB. We are constantly being fed shit with gravy and told that it is actually potatoes and that we should partake because it is good for us. What nit wittery. I’m not saying that we should all jump on the AJ wagon, but come on.
It's the ( Sheeple Chicken Little Hysteria Syndrome ) DB. They start bleating and clucking false information and rumors over and over at each other until they believe it all, and it drives them completely nuts.
Kind of like the G.W. Bush Administration's methods to allow him to go after Sadam Hussein. Damn near the whole country went nuts over those rumors and false intelligence.

I find Alex Jones hilarious as you know. And he does fucked up shit all the time, spreading rumors, making shit up, never correcting himself, and I don't cover it because that's who he and how gets paid. It's at least 50% an act for his audience in my view.
But this crossed the line. He created a monster and I am trying to kill it.
Thing is that Info Wars picks up my stories all the time on their own. One of their writers likes my stuff and just posts a few articles over there on his own. So he will probably read the piece.

I have seen both of those videos multiple times. I checked them out a few days ago and immediately emailed them to a golfing buddy who is the fire chief in Bloomington. He said it looked normal. The video shows EXACTLY how fertilizer fires like that work. There is nothing strange he saw, even in super slo-motion.

To put the Boston story in context...
Even if you believe "the brothers did it, did it alone, had no long term connection with the FBI and then went on a crime spree" story - ESPECIALLY if you believe that story, consider this:
Let's say you knew a dog was rabid and it had bitten scores of people, even killing some. And you knew the dog's name and where it lived.
Would you:
a. Go straight to where the dog was and get it off the street?
or
b. Pretend you didn't know its name or where it lived; run pictures on TV asking the public for help identifying; and let it run wild?
Then send an army of dog catchers armed to the teeth door to door, ripping people out of their homes at gunpoint - and that's what they did - trying to find the dangerous dog on the loose?
The answer's pretty obvious and the significance of what the FBI post-atrocity did must be sinking in now.
But there's more and please read closely.
Officer Collier. Let's assume the brothers murdered him (which is a huge leap in the absence of any evidence so far presented i.e. zero). If they did it, then who made that crime possible in the first place?
If the dog catcher knew where a rabid dog was, pretended he didn't, and that dog bit another person, what would you say about that dog catcher?
What would you say about the FBI and how trustworthy they are?
Speaking of non-investigations, do you notice no charges have been filed in the connection with Officer Collier of the MIT Police Department. A policeman was murdered - that we know - and in spite of thousands of law enforcement people crying into their hankies (and rightfully so), no one has talked about the gun used (they should know that by now) or the existence or non-existence of useful security cam footage.
Gun used? Pick up the shells and look at them (10 seconds) - unless it was a revolver. Security footage? You know the cameras that were there and roughly when this took place. The FBI analyzed many hundreds of hours of camera footage in a few days (probably total BS), but no one can look at the video from where and when Collier was shot.
There are plenty of reasons to have very serious concerns about this story. It's easy to flog Jones. It's harder to think.
(Collier was shot in front of the MIT Federal Credit Union, by the entrance to one of MIT's most heavily visited buildings, in a parking area. If there wasn't a camera there to at least miss the event or malfunction, I'll eat my hat.)
You raise a good question about the time lag between identification and pursuit (or lack thereof). But there's no reason to be so goddam insulting.
Anyhow, FBI presser at c.5pm on Thurs. the 18th. MIT policeman shot c.10:30pm later that same day. The suspects were identified, by name, in the meantime. But exactly what time?
Further, it was after midnight before police encountered the suspects and had the big shootout.
Did it really take 5 hours for dozens of people in the Boston area to alert the FBI??? Good question.

Actually you missed the explanation for this, so you are NOT as on top of things as you think. I posted the link a few times. The FBI top brass didn't know who Tameran was. A grand total of 3 agents in the FBI had heard of Tameran. They were all low level, and they didn't recognize him at first in the bombing photos with the hat on. You will admit he looks very different with the hat pulled down on his face, than he does in all the other pictures without a hat. You give the FBI WAY too much credit for sharing information in-house and overall intelligence. They are bumbling fools like all of our intelligence agencies.
As for footage of the shooting of the MIT police officer, I do not know if it exists. But if it does, I certainly wouldn't expect the FBI to release the video to the public. Why in the hell would they do that? That is now evidence for a trial. And if it exists, you will not see it until that point. You do know how these investigations work, right?
Also, I have moved on from this story. Honestly, given your rudeness as Pitchfork noted, I couldn't give a flying fuck that you think they are innocent and being framed. So why do you care so much that I think they are guilty. I've been nothing but polite with you. Stop the knives and insults. Just discuss the issues. We are all adults who can have a mature conversation, with politeness and respect. You're a smart guy. I know you can do it too.

His question, and our question, and your question should be -- Was there a specific credible warning in advance of a bomb threat and is that why so many bomb dogs were around?
As for your other point. The police were blowing up multiple suspicious bags after the bombing. It's the safest way to deal with that type of situation. And the Boston Globe was warning people about the controlled explosions. It was that simple until Alex Jones showed up, didn't understand the Twitter timestamp and a false conspiracy was born.
I agree. I wrote in comments above that some things AJ exposes have value. But he believes the moon landings were fake, which I'm sure you agree is nonsense. He thinks the Sandy Hook and Aurora Colorado shooting were either fake, staged events with actors or were done by the government. He switches back and forth.
Alex Jones has learned to make a good living on "misinformation", I don't think these two idiots had any foreign help other than the internet which I mentioned before. If they had pro help they would have had a clearly defined exit strategy and the resources to do so instead of the cobbled up mess they ended up with...
