Liz Claman Passes To Peter Barnes Who Says "Grand Tetons"

Video is below...

I can already sense trouble with this story and I haven't even posted it yet.  I apologize in advance to our audience of female readers, but the prurient male in me does not reside far below the surface.  And I do like Liz Claman.

Something witty is expected from you McHugh.

Honestly, it's not just the look that gets me with Liz. She's got a wonderful voice (stop laughing.....I mean it) and most importantly, she's smart. As Ron White has observed, beauty's only skin-deep, but "you can't fix stupid."

I have a sweatshirt that says 'Jackson Hole'. My boys hate it when I wear it, but they are middle and high-school aged. You betcha I wear it anyway, ha ha.

i love that Liz and her Grand Tetons. She is awesome, yes AND smart. I'll take it. Peter Barnes is smart too. I've switched to FBN from CNBC. 'Bout a month ago. Haven't missed it.

Here's something else that's perking up -- the American Left. Check out the trailer for Michael Moore's new movie, "Capitalism." I'm sure it will blame "free" markets as such, but this clip is mostly about getting "our money back." Bailout heroes Marcy Kaptur and Elizabeth Warren make cameo appearances. Could be a great help to the cause.

Liz is an Andover grad and a UC Berkeley alum. She also attended the Sorbonne and speaks French. In other words, she speaks at least one more language than geniuses like Tim "I STUDIED Chinese and Japanese" Geithner and Barack "In the Austrian Language" Obama.

She's OK, not my type of girl. Her being on FOX News seems about right.

In a post about "Grand Tetons," it's fitting that I'm able to make reference to Larry Flynt (yest, THAT Larry Flynt). Flynt has a piece over at HuffPo calling for a National Strike over the bailouts and the influence wielded by the likes of Goldman Sachs. He also makes mention of Daniel Shays and his farmers' rebellion -- an obscure moment in US history that seems to be an increasingly popular point of reference for the anti-bailout set. (Via Mike Morgan's www.goldmansachs666.com ).

Obama..."Don't tell me words don't matter! 'I have a dream.' Just words. 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.' Just words. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself.' Just words, just speeches!"

There's a really interesting discussion going on over at TickerForum about the clip above^. Several people are thinking the same thing many of us are, that the anger is about more than just health care -- it's also about the bailouts, the spending and perhaps especially the way the government continues make massive decisions about how to spend OUR money, and then refuses to listen to us when we direct them otherwise.

http://tickerforum.org/cgi-ticker/akcs-www?post=108003

It's funny, just yesterday I read where Obama said his thinking about mandating the purchase of health insurance (sic) "had evolved." And I thought -- Oh yeah, asshole, well MINE hasn't. No, thank you. (I don't think it's occurred to these punks that we just might not go along with their plans.)

I imagine a lot of people are feeling this way -- especially as it's becoming increasingly clear to everyone that the govt. plans to ram a health care bill down our throughts one way or another, regardless of what we say. Notice that they don't give a crap what we think, they only give a crap about us learning to think the way they WANT us to think. Even Obama himself is now saying he wants an "honest" discussion about health care. The hell he does. No more so than he did about the "stimulus." Because if he wanted honesty he'd have to be open to scrapping the whole shooting match. But obviously none of these f***ers plans to give us an actual choice in the matter. I tell you what, my pitchfork is so sharp right now, I have to keep it locked in a case. This health care stuff is going to get real interesting come this fall.

Obviously, we had no choice about the bailouts, either. These punks, like Bob Clueless (R-SC), that refuse to apologize for their bailout vote ought to be choclate sauced and feathered -- on a regular basis -- until they admit the error of their financially illiterate ways.

I believe this one has been posted before, but here's Tim Bishop, a Democrat from Long Island getting absolutely skewered by some tough constituents. But what I hadn't noticed before is that at about the 9:00 mark, a lady asks if Social Security is going to run out of money and some guy shouts out "You shouldn'ta bailout out the banks!" Great moment. Fun clip.

Sorry, this is just too fun, but here's part 2 of Bishop's ritual skewering. A questioner at 3:20 mentions the Wall St. bailout in terms of campaign contributions. Another questioner asks about all the spending and spending and spending of money we don't have -- someone shouts "You're passing all these bailouts!" (4:52). And then when Bishop says, (threatening) "Do you want to cut Social Security?" someone else points out "You coulda bailed it out before you bailed the banks out!"

And a lady at 6:05 says, "Nobody asked us. Nobody bailed US out. And I think it's wrong that we're bailing out all these other companies and nobody's helping We the People."
