LISTEN: Laura Ingraham Drops The F-Bomb On A Hot Mic

THE PANIC BEGINS AT 48 SECONDS

Syndicated radio is not always easy, as demonstrated by this audio clip from Friday. Laura and her production staff thought it was dead air. It in fact was not. Her listeners heard everything. She has likely already been contacted by the FCC Profanity Division tasked with protecting the American people from ever hearing such words.

The former leader of a black student group at Kean University tweeted anonymous threats against fellow black students last fall because she wanted more people to attend a rally on racial injustice, according to prosecutors.

Kayla McKelvey, 25, pleaded guilty Monday to creating a false public alarm. State prosecutors will recommend that McKelvey be sentenced to 90 days in jail and pay restitution of about $82,000 to cover the costs of the police response and heightened security at Kean after the threats.

Who really cares? She said fuck. So what? The FCC shouldn't do a damn thing about this, unless it's political, because George W. Bush was swearing on live TV and nothing came of that.

He tried to say to "free his people" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQMyHwe_zAQ lol, fuck em!

I agree... who cares. Sounded like there was real concern and there's nothing worse than radio silence for a radio host. Sounded to me like she handed it well. Considering the event, she could have shown real anger towards her staff, but her concern was for her affiliates, as it should be. Most hosts would not have handled it as well as she did.

DB, Now that's funny right there. That woman is going to have to pay $82000 back. I guess she can add that to her student loan that will be forgiven before too long.

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. This is tame stuff. I still find it entertaining anytime there is panic in the control room. Laura handled it pretty well, minus the F-Bomb.

Sounds like y'all think there should be consequences for breaking the rules. If you're not a Republican hand puppet.

Hypocrites

I would respond but your comment doesn't make any sense. Not sure what you are saying. I don't think we should have FCC penalties for profanity for anyone. It's a stupid rule. Words are words.
