Want to end trillion dollar deficits? How about a 1% transaction tax on Wall Street. $2.45 quadrillion in BS derivatives taxed at 1% would go very far to restoring national solvency and taming the mad dogs of Wall St.

This web site is just making it look as if it's run by fools for even posting garbage like this. Budgets have nothing to do with the financial health of a city, state or country. They are a projection. A target. A guess. And NOTHING MORE.

All anybody has to do when these crooks wring their hands and say they have a budget "deficit" or "crisis" is "To Hell with you and your phony budget. If you went over budget, change your budget. Show me your Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), and let's see how much money and liquid assets you're hiding from the public."

And watch them stop breathing.
