HOT LINKS: New Bill Requires Gold & Silver Registration

Bundled up against the extreme cold, Julie Caruso of Akron, Ohio, waits in a long line for a tour of the White House on Inauguration Day.

Morning reading.

New Bill Requires Gold & Silver Registration With State

It has been introduced in Illinois, the most anti-gun state in the U.S.

Snip:

Creates the Precious Metal Purchasing Act.  Provides that a person who is in the business of purchasing precious metal shall obtain a proof of ownership, create a record of the sale, and verify the identity of the seller.  Provides that a person who is in the business of purchasing precious metal shall not pay for the precious metal in cash and shall record the method of payment.  Requires the purchaser to keep a record of the sale for one year or, if the purchase amount is over $500, for 5 years.  Provides that a person who violates the Act is guilty of a petty offense and subject to a fine not exceeding $500. Provides that the Attorney General may inspect records, investigate an alleged violation, and take action to collect civil penalties.

So these ass clowns are using a ham fisted approach to inject themselves into every facet of our lives. Why don't these miserable cretins introduce a bill that allows for mandatory drug testing for themselves as we'll as mandatory checks on all bank accounts and cash payments. Complete checks on all associations since graduation and DNA testing to make sure they dont't suffer from some sort of anxiety ridden corpulent binge Twinkie eating disorder that makes them click their pens rapidly while trying to hold a conversation, while mumbling how much they hate their wives and really just want to sodimize your children in the name of sensible government. WTH?

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Gold futures rose Wednesday after news that the U.S. economy shrank in the fourth quarter, buoyed the metal’s appeal as a safe haven, and ahead of a monetary policy statement due out from the U.S. Federal Reserve.

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Private-sector employment got off to a good start in 2013, according to a report from payroll-processing firm Automatic Data Processing Inc.

The U.S. added 192,000 private-sector positions in January, ADP estimated Wednesday, led by a 177,000 jump in the number of service-providing jobs.

“The job market is slowly but steadily improving,” said Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody’s Analytics, which produces the report based on data supplied by ADP.

As any TSA groper could have told you that was AL KAIDA not Julie Caruso. Why isn't there a TSA checkpoint at the white house?

Because Big Sis had them doing security at her charity softball event. Or perhaps they were busy at the Super Bowl, or at your local bus station, or maybe they were screening high school kids at the prom. The work is never done for a patriotic TSA screener.
