Harry Reid Attends Opening Of Clark County Shooting Park

Hypocrisy Watch

Flashback - April 1, 2010.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid was joined by NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre, members of Nevada's congressional delegation, state and local leaders over the weekend for the grand opening of the Clark County Shooting Park. Reid led the effort to secure the land and funding needed to build the 2,900-acre world-class shooting park. The new facility will make our communities safer, protect the natural desert environment and provide a place for people of all ages to learn about shooting sports. "Nevadans aimed high when we set out to create the largest and most advanced shooting range in the world," said Reid. "But we kept a steady eye on our target. And today, with great pride, Nevada has hit the bulls-eye."

When he came to Washington for the first time after winning his House seat in 1982, Harry Reid made sure he brought one thing with him: his gun.

If gun control laws work, why were 532 people murdered last year in the Anti-Gun City of Chicago?

Vice President Joe Biden “guaranteed” Mayor Thomas M. Menino — a leading national gun control advocate — that President Obama will pass sweeping firearms reforms by the end of the month, the mayor said today.

“He said, ‘Tommy, I guarantee you, we’ll get it done by the end of January,’” Menino said at City Hall today. “They’re going to get it done.”

Perhaps that fat dumb ass should fucking read Bloomberg. Within the pages of that fine website, he can read of how the banks and the Feds have promoted drug and gun running which has been going on for years destroying our towns and cities. Mr. Bloomberg should also read his own rag. They are just hopeless pieces of shit.

I agree with Ben as well Sagebrush, further definition exists in the Militia Act of 1792. After the Revolution tensions still existed between the States and England culminating in the War of 1812, not to mention Native issues...

"Gun control" is a red herring and timely distraction for the masses--a reaction to a crazy person's sick, murderous act. We have a massive and growing debt that will never be repaid, unchecked and idiotic deficit spending that will never stop, unfathomable unfunded liabilities which will never be met, and a currency devaluing every day.

And our main worry is stopping the sale of ARs? Really!? Come on sheeple! Wake the f@ck up!

@Josie,

The issues you note, plus the destruction of the Constitution and the continuing criminal activity committed by the elite and for the elite by our corrupt government are not going to stop. The disarming of the American People is first and foremost on the elite agenda, It is not a Red Herring. The American People are fed up and the 1% and their employees, AKA the U.S. Government know it. To continue their financial rape of the planet disarming the American People is an absolute necessity. People like the Marine in the letter below are the only reason they won't succeed.

Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

Respectfully Submitted,

Joshua Boston
