Hank Paulson: 'I Don't Think We'll See A President Trump'

Paulson loves global free trade (especially with China) which destroys American jobs.

"Listen, you know the answer to that as well as I do, and I don't think we're going to see a President Trump. I'm seeing things today that I never expected to see from either party. And I think when you have the American people as angry as they are, this makes them ripe for populism, and I think what we're seeing is rooted in that populism. I'm not going to make a prediction on who our president's going to be. But I will stick my neck way out and say, I don't think it's going to be Donald Trump."

I know a limo driver who picked up Paulson at O'Hare and drove him to downtown Chicago during the height of the 2008 crisis. He said Hank was on his cell phone the entire time badgering his wife about "why people don't like us." (Query what your rationale was for choosing a $1500 limo over $4 in el train fares, Hank?)

I see from this article that the more things change, the more they stay the same, and that Paulson's denial is as massive as ever. First off, Hank, it's not that we don't like you. WE FUCKING HATE YOU, SCUMBAG! Get that through your bald head after you paint a bullseye on it with your lipstick.

Second, "ripe for populism?" Seriously, you dumb shit? Can you point to some numbers or maybe a graph to back up your inanity? Because I can readily point to numbers underscoring the jobs catastrophe left in the wake of America's multi-trillion dollar corporate welfare program that you advocated, lied about, and now benefit from:

People added to ranks of working age since 9/08: 18.2 million
People added to labor force since 9/08: 4.3 million

You think those wild-eyed populists might be a little bit peeved about the fact that for 7+ years, 75+% of people entering their working age years can't find jobs--despite the fact that most jobs are minimum wage now anyhow?

Since you're so concerned about tamping down your "populism" bogeyman, and you want people to like you, Hank, why don't you and your wife just throw a barbecue at your house and invite the 13,900,000 people who have no prospect for jobs? It's the least you can do, you stupid asshole. And if you're feeling really magnanimous--as I know you are--why not just invite the 95,000,000 Americans who aren't in the labor force?

Gomp, was recently up in a section of Pa where ALL the Ash trees were blasted into oblivion. The major population of trees in this area and piles of bark laying underneath the trees and upon closer inspection, I could see the exit holes that the borer leaves as evidence. Huge trees to boot. It was a scary mess to walk around them.
