Hamilton & Jefferson Discuss The Founding Of The United States Treasury (Video From HBO Series John Adams)

Very, very interesting 3-minute scene.  Which one do you think lobbied for the creation of of the United States Treasury and argued that a national debt was healthy and in fact crucial to our financial growth as a nation.

Alexander Hamilton believed in big government, a large federal debt, and a national bank to administer the debt and to help establish international credit for global trade.  Jefferson was not of the same mind.

Great stuff, DB! Obviously, Jefferson was right. The "moneyed interests" have taken over, at the expense of and over the liberty of the people. How many of our idiot Congress folks even know our history and the debates of our founders. Likely not many.
