Given the news that Blankfein has hired a high-profile defense attorney, and that perjury charges are possible, it's worth remembering that DOJ is not the only one investigating.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS), the fifth- biggest U.S. bank by assets, received a subpoena from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office seeking information on the firm’s activities leading into the credit crisis, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The request relates to the U.S. Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations report on Wall Street’s role in the housing market collapse, which accused New York-based Goldman Sachs of misleading buyers of mortgage-linked investments, the people said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the inquiry isn’t public. The Senate report was referred to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission, which are also investigating.

Is this the same cocksucker prosecutors' office that is letting the 9-11 perps skate? If so, I'm not impressed. The enemy is inside the gates and are capable of doing another 9-11 disaster event without fear of prosecution. I hope nobody is having trouble understanding this. A 4-year old can understand it. That is, a 4-year old that does not believe in sacrificing innocents like the average American cretin believes.

"I got a feeling the campaign fund raising season is going to be a good one."

Gompers, it looks like this is going to be the best campaign fund raising season for the political parasites ever! With the big banks paying Congress and state attorney Generals off of to legalize fraud and help them rape the middle class more efficiently. CEO's buying their way out of criminal charges with state and local D.A.'s and MSM making sure sure the sheeple stay ignorant of what is truly going on behind their back. The wave's of cash will be big enough for the banksters to go surfing.
