GALLUP POLL: Dead Heat: Obama 47% Romney 47%

The Gallup poll showing a dead heat should have a clear leader. With a GDP of 15.4 trillion dollars, a debt of 16 trillion, and federal taxes collected of 2.5 trillion a year, it would take 5 years to pay off the national debt if we did not pay anyone or have any programs. If the people getting free stuff want to keep getting free stuff they better be voting for the party that embraces cutting spending. We are heading to a point where Greece was when they had to cut pensions and all other social programs, we will be there in 4 more years of this administration.

My glass is 3/4 full and I believe Romney is a far better choice. His history of taking problems and solving them is incredible.
He is already successful and has been successful with all his programs.

Obama still thinks the Ambassador was killed over a movie!

I agree Backgammon. The people who don't vote are part of the problem the very least they could do is help stop the descent into a third world country. I realize both choices aren't the best but as adults we have to choose to do nothing is in essence a vote. That left/right don't vote crap is a political tool in/of itself. Mitt certainly wouldn't be my first choice that would have been Ron Paul but compated to obama he is the best choice unless you are a liberal and are voting yourself the purse. Besides I would vote for him just to get rid of bernanke.

Which candidate is against bailouts? Which one is for breaking up the too-bigger-tio-fail banks? Which was is for prosecuting the Wall Street criminals who've cost (so far) the economy $12 trillion? Which one is for ending foreign wars we can't afford? Which one is for repealing the NDAA and the series of constitutional depredations that preceded it (all the way back to the Patriot Act)? Which is for repealing Obamneycare? Which one is for a constitutional amendment forbidding corporate contributions that buy government officials like hookers? Which was is for the uptick rule? Which one opposes high-frequency trading? Which one is against drone strikes against U.S. citizens? Which one hasn't benefited from Wall Street's looting operation? Which one gives a flying fuck about you?

Neither one, that's who. They're identical cut-outs from rented corporate paper. If you haven't figured out who the sucker in the voting booth is yet, it's you.

You both are right. It also depends where you live and whether it's a swing state. Romney will win Indiana, so my vote doesn't count in essence, and I'm voting for Ron Paul as a write-in.

Here's a video demonstrating that each political party is, quite literally, a puppet show. At both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, issues arose that required a 2/3 majority voice vote by floor delegates for the parties' respective motions to pass. Behold as the votes are decided by... teleprompters--over the riotous objections of voters--instructing party robots, er, representatives on the (already decided) results of each "vote." This footage will astonish even hardcore cynics, I assure you.

Just when I think American politics could not possibly be exposed any more as a sham, a nugget like this pops out.
