Fox News Shep Smith Blasts Obama Over Illegal Wars, Secret US-Afghan Talks Could See Troops Stay For Decades

Video - Fox News Shep Smith blasts Obama over illegal wars

In case you've forgotten, 43 cents of every dollar we spend is borrowed (stolen) from future generations.

  • "Are we really playing by the rules here?" Smith asked. "It's not as if Congress has been involved in any of these decisions. It's not as if the American people are behind any of these decisions. It seems to be just happening, and blowing hundreds and hundreds of hundreds of millions of dollars that we don't have."

He then repeated his view that the U.S. is lying about both the scope of its role and its intentions in Libya:

  • "Think of it. We're dropping bombs. Our people are there. We're saying we're not at war. We're clearly trying to take out Gaddafi's command and control. Congress is not involved. They're trying to convince us that we're there to protect civilians. But the facts say otherwise. Our not-war approaching a billion dollars by the month of September. But it's not a war and we haven't taken sides."

I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars.

The consequences of war are dire, the sacrifices immeasurable. We may have occasion in our lifetime to once again rise up in defense of our freedom, and pay the wages of war. But we ought not — we will not — travel down that hellish path blindly.

At times, American foreign policy has been farsighted, simultaneously serving our national interests, our ideals, and the interests of other nations. At other times American policies have been misguided, based on false assumptions that ignore the legitimate aspirations of other peoples, undermine our own credibility, and make for a more dangerous world.

We may have occasion in our lifetime to once again rise up in defense of our freedom, and pay the wages of war...

The key phrase being "in defense of our freedom..."

And it's been several decades since we were involved in anything that might rightfully fit that description...

Three years ago, a nation was on a cruise through the Caribbean Sea, a stranded damsel in a rowboat had just been picked up and the recent mutiny of a despotic captain Bush was followed by a grand party onboard. Unfortunately, captain Bush had wired ahead and his Jolly Roger friends were happy to set up the ambush that would be necessary for the continued looting of the passengers. Obama was bait. When the good ship 'U.S.A' slowed to a stop to pick up the damsel with the broad-brimmed hat with a veil, They could not see the stubble on the damsel's face. Also, the passengers' ecstacy in ditching the corrupt, evil thieving captain Bush let pass notice that a foreign war frigate had rounded a small island and soon began pummeling the ship. And pirates wearing scuba gear had been lying in wait under the damsel's oarless boat, which was the ship's launch from the approaching ship 'Queen Elizabeth's Revenge'. First mate Bernanke was the lead to seperate the passengers' wealth from the passengers and scuttle the good ship 'U.S.A.'

So where was Fox news during all of this? Blabbing to the evil captain Bush the combination to the safe and lying to the passengers. Now they blame it all on the damsel. And share in the profits of Bernanke' looting. Send in the Marines

Great stuff...howard...very well done...

But in this case, as you can guess, fox news doesn't agree with shep smith...this was a profile of his statements, and certainly not any sort of appreciation or cheerleading for fox news...

Obama's Guns for Nothing...Fast and the Furious Fails (Obama out of the loop)...

Operation Fast and Furious: Obama Denies Knowledge Of US Government's Gun-Smuggling To Mexico

Obama told Univision‘s Jorge Ramos that President Felipe Calderon wasn’t informed of the operation because he — the president of the United States — wasn’t informed either. When asked whether he knew of the weapon smuggling plan, Obama responded that it is “a pretty big government” with “a lot of moving parts.”

Shep Smith's railing is like the Fox-deck pirates throwing a child of the victims on the deck to hear him helplessly cry and set the mood. Fox news would NOT object as Smith expresses. Watch the House vote and know Fox news was instrumental in getting these traitors elected. Send in the Marines. This warring is, by its proponents' traditions, a satanic blood sacrifice and unworthy of American citizens' participation.
