Think about every "news" cast you've seen over the past twenty or so years. I call it the Oprah-ization of the news. Once people realized that what Oprah said became the truth, even when it was clear there was no element of truth, the game was over. Now the news, analysis/opinion and entertainment have no clear delineation. And if you say it loud enough and with authority, it is so...

Christine Romans- is the idiot who comes on each morning and says that crude spot prices are $100 or 115 or whatever and this is going to be refelected at the pumps- within the next few days-blah blah- the spot price has no connection to the long term contracts signed by the oil majors with their suppliers-- none and therefore no connection to prices all the way along the pipeline none-- er excuse me, perhaps out 12 to 18 months based on complex formulas--- the pump price rise is blatent gouging--- where are the journalists to look into this deeply and report the facts, the fact that the prices rise across competitors in lock step-- where are the journalists to look into the price fix pattern- no they don't talk to each other each time-- but there is a pattern- look at the pattern and then go up the pattern--- sometime in the past they nudge nudge wink wink was done an an industry conference- but real journalist could have a look not to mention the justice dept.--- so we got no logical theoretical or legal(as in contract) connection and very orchestrated price fixing--- a real journalist please.

Calm, Cool and Accurate. Clint Eastwood once said in an interview.... " There are no secrets in life " The truth has a way of making it to light. I like to think that I know the truth when I hear it and he certainly sounds like a person who is speaking it as a person who is "in the know" if you will..... It feels as if the momentum is building this time enough perhaps to balance this so very disproportionate situation we are all in.
