Dylan Ratigan With Delaware AG Beau Biden: Fighting Big Banks Over Foreclosure Fraud

Beau Biden is one of 7 state attorneys general to join New York’s Eric Schneiderman in breaking away from a broad mortgage fraud settlement led by Wall Street-owned Iowa attorney general Tom Miller.  He also joined the FDIC and a large number of investors in objecting to a proposed $8.5 billion mortgage settlement by Bank of America.

We went to court this week. I was allowed to video the hearing, but ran out of memory long before the end. Two victories in that: 1. I was allowed to record over the Plaintiff's attorney's objection and 2. The judge actually listened to our evidence, over 2 hours. And we were both a nervous wreck and rambled and made stupid mistakes - the judge was very patient. He will rule next week, we will make my video public after he rules.. Maybe the next person can learn from our mistakes.
To see this in the headlines makes me feel like maybe what we did was worth it somehow. We were not behind in our payments, we did it to expose the banking fraud. If we lose a house but get our country back, it will have been a wonderful trade off. .

Thank you Claire and family, I appreciate your sacrifice, which is more than ANY of these elected officials have displayed in the name of honor, dignity and respect. One grateful citizen is grateful.

What you did, Claire, took an enormous amount of courage, and for that reason alone--just the example you set--made your act worth it. I salute you.

Let us know how the ruling turns out. It's been my experience that when a judge tunes in like that, he or she has some reason to suspect that the underdog might well be right. But you never know.

May more Americans follow your example and stand up and say "enough of this shit."

Well done. Please stay in touch.

Thank you for the kind words! My husband and I discussed it and see no harm in releasing the video. The opening statements are really the only interesting part I got on video, so I clipped the things before and after that off, but this is otherwise unedited.
