I love it. Matt Taibbi on CNN but the best part is what appears on screen at the beginning of this clip: "Pres. Obama A Sellout?".

Once considered the MOST prestigious job on earth, today being president of the United States of America seems to merit very little -if any- respect. And understandably so after having witnessed the buffoonery of GW Bush morph into the chicanery of BH Obama.

GM to Pay Back TARP
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091215/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gm_whitacre

OK, we've got Citi, BAC, Wells, and now GM (sort of) paying back TARP. And over the weekend we had The One on 60 Minutes saying "fat cat" and talking all tough-like, and we also had fat cat Larry Summers on the Sunday talk shows saying how the bankers don't "get it." This is all to the good -- not the paying back TARP bit, but that there is clearly a concerted effort by the administration to assuage anger over the bailouts. In other words, I think they know they're toast if they don't (pretend to) do something.

Fortunately, more and more people, on the left and the right (AND the juicy independent middle) are starting to see through the Obama facade.

AMERICAN DREAM IN A DEATH SPIRAL MODE NOW:

The American Dream, An Obituary - The American Revolution was an extraordinary event. The idea that freedom was an inherent right, that tyranny could be successfully opposed, that government could serve the people, not the few, was truly revolutionary in 1776—as it is today.

DB, don't worry, you will not be able to post it. Too honest and not leftist enough for the DB.

Don't call me a fool you fool. You are such a child DB. You mean that he doesn't share your devotion to Ron Paul.

DB says......he falls right into the right-left paradigm that you promote...

And Jon Liebowitz or the Colbert dude, or Huffington Roast? They have, I guess, fallen into your black hole?

You are so transparent.

Context and the right-left paradigm...have you applied to be Ron Paul’s outside the white house spokesman? You would be great at it.

Let me get you started…

DB, is Ron Paul in the center of the paradigm or does he live on a completely separate archetype?

The way I remember it, the outrage was really becoming palpable back in March, but a 60% run up in stocks has made people forget about pitchforks and torches. That rally, which I have always asserted is bogus, is reaching stall speed now. Greater fools have become an endangered species, and the administration knows it.

So now, we're back to mock-justice to restore confidence.

gobais...you rip me in the post before...the guy is a partisan hack...loves Republicans hates democrats...

i dislike both...and yes you are a fool to believe that one party is your savior...people have been trying to explain that to you around here for months...but you remain a party hack...part of the problem...

Great comment Mark. It had great context and avoided the pitfalls of the right-left paradigm. You should write an article for DB with such amazing insight into the obvious.
Dec 15, 2009 at 4:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterGobiasBestFriend
And you don't support a party DB? Is Ron Paul part of a party?

Hmmmmm...

Thanks Gobby, I may just do that.

I am discovering that insight into the obvious seems to have pretty much vanished from the american landscape, which makes me a glass of water in the desert.

And you don't support a party DB? Is Ron Paul part of a party?

No...i don't support either party...i feel they are both to blame...ron paul is an ostracized republican who calls himself a libertarian...

He freely admits his disdain for Republicans...

So, YES.

I say let the janitors run the banks, I do not think it is humanly possible for anyone to fuck the world up like the bankers have over their personal lusts and greed.
