DRONE FREE: Jon Stewart On Rand Paul

Daily Show applauds Rand Paul.

'I can't say that I agree with Rand Paul about everything, but as issues go, drone oversight is certainly one worth kicking up a fuss for.'

Both clips run 2 minutes.

The next night:

Rand Paul's filibuster comes to an end in the way that all filibusters must.

This is a better clip:

That is a quote from Stewart as his preface.

Anybody else getting tired of this shit.

I can't tell you how many clips Rand Paul clips I've seen in the past week, and pretty much every single one says the same ridiculous thing at the outset. It's a requirement apparently on the Left to declare to your viewers that Rand Paul is a fucking idiot before you praise him, just so your sheeple listeners don't get confused by your temporary cheerleading for the other team.

It's all bullshit. If these tunnel vision Blue-Red, left-right riptards would actually look at what Rand Paul stands for they might find they agree with him on more than just this issue, auditing the Fed, cutting defense, protecting civil liberties, decriminalizing drugs, ending the stealth wars, cutting corporate tax loopholes, and probably more.

I don't have time to find the link but Glenn Greenwald wrote recently that it's no longer about political parties or tribes -- it's who you can work with on issues that matter to you. Ron Paul working with Dennis Kucinich and Alan Grayson for example.

Apparently these fucktards haven't gotten Greenwald's memo.
