I think Bill's mental incapacity played a central role in Hillary's private server saga. Bill met Loretta Lynch on the Phoenix tarmac to get instructions on what Hillary needed to say and what she needed to avoid saying. When Lynch figured out--probably in the first 5 minutes--that she was wasting her time on a fruit cake, she steered the convo to grandkids so they could each say--truthfully--that that's what they talked about.
Less than a minute after that meeting was over, however, Lynch did what she had to do in order to save Hillary's ass: she instructed Comey and the FBI to leave no record of Hillary's upcoming interview--no video recording, no audio recording, no stenographer, no notes.
The FBI records its interviews as a matter of course. But it didn't do so with Hillary. Why is that? Because Bill Clinton lacks the mental capacity, in the judgment of none other than the Attorney General, to remember a few simple instructions.
The Clintons make the Caligulas look like sane choir boys.

But nothing was done about any of it, either in the way of punishment for past wrongdoings or meaningful reforms going forward. Now the crime and corruption is out in the open for all to see. And the populace is either too stupid or sedated to notice on the one hand, or pretends--falsely--that things were always this way. But they weren't always this way, which is why (1) people went to jail in the wake of previous meltdowns and (2) the reality underlying the 2008 crisis was so shocking to begin with.
Frankly the pretense that things have always been this way is a coward's affectation, and it's extremely dangerous. The popular failure to address the crime and evil that's going on in the bright light of day, every day, will eventually be construed by the perpetrators of this shit as consent.
About in the middle of the concert, he dedicated a song to "the worlds Greatest Liar", and I chanted "Hill-a-ry-Hill-a-ry" just loud enough for a few in my row and adjacent ones to hear it….
One the way back home we debated whether he was Rep of Dem…. This morning I decided to find out and came across this:

I might have lost money on slots and let it ride, but I really kick myself in the ass for not chanting louder….much louder…..

It's hard to decide which is the bigger story here: the fact that a rally in Omaha (pop. 435,000) featuring headliners Hillary Clinton and Warren Buffett--a hometown legend--drew a laughable 50 people (not enough to fill most bars), or the fact that the Washington Post reported it as "big" and "boisterous."
You'd think that such a rare public appearance by Hillary could outdraw a third-tier dog show, particularly in view of the media's fawning attention. Alas.
The Grand Media Fiction of 2016 is wearing thinner and thinner as the debates approach. Long popcorn...
Keep an eye on Turkey, and is anyone hearing the deafening silence of ITAR?
And how about those Iran bribes, I suspected such with the release of the Navy sailors and the big payoff that was given "back" at that time, seems to be a pattern... Also, Iran is joyously violating the nuke deal agreement the Dems keep touting and continues to attempt to launch a ballistic missile.
Sumbitch! As usual, Cheyenne sends one down the smokestack. Can't agree with you more on this.
For the record, I don't assent to any of this bullshit.
Btw, fellas, I'm supposed to attend a speaking engagement next week by long-time DB amicus Dylan Ratigan. I will report back here with any intel...

And then there is this.

In addition, it may be that Hillary is a severe alcoholic. She looks drunker than shit ascending the staircase to the plane before she face plants:

That assessment is consistent with reports from 2008 that Hillary entered an alcohol rehab:
http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/addiction-in-society/200804/hillary-enters-rehab
Evidently that rehab (and possibly others) didn't take, as there are numerous reports to this day that Hillary is a serious boozehound who by freely admits she likes vodka martinis.

Whether the sedative injections are related to alcoholism and withdrawal symptoms I don't know. What I do know is that Hillary needed a bathroom break so long during a primary debate that it disrupted the event, and that she's exhibited short spans where she appears to be in a blackout at least twice in the past week. And that doesn't include her bizarre balloon performance at the convention.
The media won't report anything about this glaringly obvious and deadly serious problem.
There is nowhere to hide, though, during a live debate, as Hillary herself has already showed. While I PLAN on watching these affairs like a hawk, I have my doubts as to whether they'll go forward at all. I think Hillary is in that much trouble.
Do not underestimate the lengths to which TPTB will go to put Hillary in the White House. If "something happens" and it's used as an excuse to cancel one or more debates, I would view it with even more extreme prejudice than Captain Willard showed Colonel Kurtz.

...look so much different than her full-on blackout caused by the rally protester less than a week ago, which she needed said ubiquitous handler to snap her out of...

The only noteworthy similarity between the 2 events was the microscopic attendance.

Besides the seizure that everyone has seen (the head bobbing nightmare), she also had a short seizure at the end of the DNC during the balloon drop. Her eyes started darting and she tried to hide it with exagerrated smiling and facial reaction. It was a dead giveaway.
Sick Hillary and Sleepy Clinton should be added to 'crooked and rotten'.'

No idea if he's okay or any clue about the nature of his "medical emergency."
As a DB contributor, I must share my concern over this.
I was one of the last guests on the Dylan Ratigan Show before he departed abruptly for the west coast in May or early June of 2012 amid public questions about what was going on: was he fired, did he quit, wtf?
Dylan was kind enough to have me on his show to talk about Bailout, which hadn't been released yet. I'd interviewed him for the film, and he was dynamite. That prior interview--not his interview of me--took place in his 30 Rock office just minutes after that day's show had ended.
Now Dylan Ratigan is a big dude. I put him at 6'3" and 230 lbs., with very little fat. When the camera started rolling after VERY brief introductions, I found out that he NEEDED his imposing physical vessel to contain his energy, which 10 seconds into the interview exploded from his mouth for the next forty minutes. It was like severing a main in the Hoover Dam. That was June 2011.
But even that display of intensity hadn't prepared me for what I saw on the set of his live show 11 months later. As soon as the short commercial break started, Ratigan started reading 6 pages of notes that had come out of nowhere. He looked at them the same way the Terminator looks at gearbox in the 18-wheeler right after the driver jumps out. I was that driver, only I'd hung onto the door to watch.
The first thing that came to mind was, "not the time for chit chat." The next two were "heart attack" and "embolism."
So when Ratigan walked away from it all a few weeks later, I was happy for the guy, even though it meant there was no one left on TV to vent our spleen over the criminality that had just begun bursting into bright daylight from the rabbit holes beneath the shiny surface of America's highest echelons.
I'd like to think he wanted nothing to do with it, to forever wash the residue of scum from his hands that came with being a GE employee. But based on his twitter feed over the last few years, I'm not sure he ever abandoned all notions of working in the criminal machine again, though it's certainly possible.
Yesterday's talk was to have been about this: "how to separate money from personal identity and learn how to use your dollars as a tool to open doors to creative possibility and freedom."
I'd say there's more than a little bit of cognitive dissonance hard at work there, and can tell you first-hand that it will eventually catch up to you, and with a vengeance. My hope is that DR is OK.
I imagine only a small fraction of his viewership realized that they were seeing something truly special.
I've always thought that if this were the 60s, or if we still had folk singers (rather than corporate "artists"), somebody would write a wistful lyric or two about watching Dylan Ratigan on the tee vee.
Hope he's OK. Maybe he was just missed his plane or something.
I see your disappointment, skin, and raise you the three vomits those Bloomberg tweets caused me. Yuk. Even more to the point, ugh. You rail against the banksters and then turn around and try pushing THAT fucker into the White House?! That's cognitive dissonance at best. At worst it makes me wonder what Ratigan WASN'T telling us in those rants.
Alas.
I hadn't watched a TV show FOR YEARS until I found out about DR, Sage, which discovery I believe I made right here. Needless to say, I shut that piece of shit TV off for good in 2012.
On that note, I discovered a short documentary about Hunter Thompson's 1970 run for Aspen sheriff on youtube the other day that I found VERY interesting for a few reasons. First, it was made while he was running and thus includes all original footage. And for that reason, second, I'm quite surprised I never even knew that it existed. Finally, as compelling as it is, there is something "off" about it, which I can't seem to put my finger on...

My only HST story is far less direct. In the spirit of the small world we live in....
I had more than a couple of sloshfests with the late Jim Monk, a friend who'd been Thompson's bartender (or one of them anyway) in Woody Creek. Monk moved from Colorado to Chicago and worked around the CBOT, but he kept in touch with HST. He was a night owl who loved financial history, but refused to read anything but contemporaneous accounts of events. Occasionally I was able to remain conscious until the bars closed at 4 or 5 am and tagged along to Monk's apt. for a nightcap. One time there was a 27-minute message on JM's answering machine from Thompson that sounded like someone trying to write the Book of Revelations with a dictaphone after drinking all night. It was just fucking unbelievable.
I'd known from Monk's stories that HST wasn't some synthetic product from marketers (which is all you can find now), but that answering message really hammered it home.
