Cool Video From Space Shows Global Free Trade In Action

SHIPPING TRAFFIC FROM SPACE

Realtime Movement Tracking Of EVERY Ship On Earth

This is an impressive visualization of just one week of global ship traffic across the seven seas. We’re talking tankers, cargo ships, tugboats, yachts, ferries, and cruise ships. The vessel movements were captured using terrestrial and space-borne AIS technology.

Just to be clear, this is not an endorsement of unfettered free trade that destroys U.S. manufacturing jobs while enriching multinational corporations and their shareholders.

This is an endorsement of cool videos from space.
