Catching Up With Kashkari

This was the 2nd televised appearance for former Treasury-Goldman acolyte Neel Kashkari.  The first was on Charlie Rose and we have that clip here.  Sounds like NK was head of human resources at Treasury, though he squarely was drunk on the kool-aid.  I withdraw my comments where I absolved him of wrath.  The rest of you were correct.  I was wrong.  He's part-captured, part smooth Sachs.  He will replace Blankfein when he's done. I can feel it.  Or run for president.

Interview is from May 26th, about 3 weeks after leaving Treasury.

Full speech delivered at Wharton San Francisco on May 18, 2000.

Kash & Karry's body language while being drilled in the hearings says it all.
Spreading the word is working and the Daily Bail is being quoted and linked to. Other bloggers are seeing the light, and the truth is slowly seeping through the blogosphere.

We may never reach the entire population, and the time for splainin' and complainin' is gettin' short.

For those of you willing to excercise your constitutional right to take action, this letter below (or something like it), sent to your state legislator might actually help to reverse the trend, and set the precedent for responsible and accessible government to prevent the Fascist takeover of the economic Imperialists.

We can only help people help themselves so much, but we can help ourselves as soon as we're ready.

At about the 1-hour mark, some guy asks KK about TALF and leverage. KK says that the idea is to slowly reduce leverage (at OUR expense). Then question guy says, Why not let the markets work and find market prices -- you say it would be "catastrophic" to let markets work, but how so? KK says, uhhh..... blah, blah, blah.. look what happened last fall.... it would be "catastrophic" and since we're Bailout Socialists, we weren't going to let markets work anyway.

KK had a chance to lay out the whole deal, the chain of causality, but his Kool-Aid drenched brain couldn't do it. Grrr... Getting those very un-Christian feelings again.

Also, where the hell were the protesters and the Code Pink girls? This was a golden opportunity missed.

@ James

"Also, where the hell were the protesters and the Code Pink girls? This was a golden opportunity missed."

I agree, this as an enormous missed opportunity. Angry protesters and Code Pink need to be his shadow. He should be in a state of such embarrassment and fear that he thinks twice before leaving his home each day. Better yet, he should think twice about staying in this country. Time for Neel to fall off the grid as a homeless prostitute in Singapore. Paulson and Blankfein will be paying customers.

Daily...

Yes, the left has tried to create a leader for this issue but the issue stands alone.

Don't tell me you are also trying to push Sarah Palin on me.

Daily...Jesus taught me: "Beware of the wolves in sheep's clothing."

However, your loyalties have always been pretty obvious.

Hey, way to go Bill!!!!! Did Bill steal Obama's thunder or Hillary's thunder?

I enjoy hearing your views. I hope you can tolerate mine. Hey, please don’t report me to Obama…I also fear his health care reform or what should be referred to as health care devolvement. Can’t we all just learn to share? Small cars are dangerous to our health too, will Obama give us all big safe cars to drive?

At Will.

Nice letter. Thanks for providing it.

At James.

I wasn't able to watch the entire clip. Thanks for pointing that out.

The code pink girls were at the bar waiting for Gobias.
