Breitbart Leaks Thousands Of Occupy Wall Street Emails

Gawker

Conservatives really have a hard-on for "infiltrating" Occupy Wall Street in an effort to discredit it. Now a computer expert has leaked thousands of emails from Occupy Wall Street organizers and told us he's identified members of the hacktivist collective Anonymous involved in the protest.

Tom Ryan is a New York-based computer security expert who runs a tiny New York-based outfit called Provide Security, which he boasts on his blog is a "team of the most-highly trained and capable physical, threat and cyber security professionals in the world." He's best known for using fake social media profiles of a pretty lady to compromise the security of high-level military and intelligence officials.

Ryan and his computer buddies have been waging a months-long campaign to infiltrate and "map the ties" of the hacktivist collective Anonymous, which has had a hand in organizing the protest.

Yesterday Ryan leaked what he said were more than 3,900 emails sent to an Occupy Wall Street mailing list called September17discuss. Now they're being used by conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart to smear the movement. The emails show that Occupy Wall Street is a "conspiracy to 'destabalize' Global Markets," Breitbart says! (You can see the email archive here.)

In a phone interview, Ryan sounded similar notes of conspiracy. He claimed that members of the hacktivist collective Anonymous are secretly calling the shots in the Occupy Wall Street movement, provoking police violence and waging a concentrated effort to spread misinformation. He said that the supposedly peaceful organizers were secretly violent. And, because no right-wing smear is complete without a terrorism connection, Ryan adds in a blog post that he had seen Occupy Wall Street posts on the Al Qaeda recruitment forum Shamuk and Al-Jahad.

Ryan says he's identified the members of Anonymous behind Occupy Wall Street.

The truth from ANONYMOUS who organized the protests:

  • We are a decentralized non-violent resistance movement, which seeks to restore the rule of law and fight back against the organized criminal class.
  • One-tenth of one percent of the population has consolidated wealth in unprecedented fashion and launched an all-out economic war against 99.9% of the population.
  • We are not affiliated with either wing of the two-party oligarchy.  We seek an end to the corrupted two-party system by ending the campaign finance and lobbying racket.
  • Above all, we aim to break up the global banking cartel centered at the Federal Reserve, International Monetary Fund, Bank of International Settlement and World Bank.
  • We demand that the primary dealers within the Federal Reserve banking system be broken up and held accountable for rigging markets and destroying the global economy, effective immediately.
  • As a first sign of good faith we demand Ben Bernanke step down as Federal Reserve chairman.
  • Until our demands are met and a rule of law is restored, we will engage in a relentless campaign of non-violent, peaceful, civil disobedience.

Wow, check out the comments on this story at Breitbart's website.

The readers over there are so freaking gullible it's sickening. Every other comment mentions Van Jones, Bill Ayers or Karl Marx. And they are STUPID enough to believe that it's all a Soros and Acorn-funded plot by Democrats to effect a socialist takeover of the country. All based on hearsay and lies spread around by Limbaugh and Co. Conservatives who are this gullible and easy to manipulate may as well just go out and campaign for Obama. Of course, they don't see it that way.

If OWS can de-stabilize the markets, how stable could they have been to start?

If Breitbart and his readers were really concerned about financial terrorism they'd demand the breakup of the TBTF institutions post haste. But they're not, and so they won't.

A great, provocative read from Barry Ritholtz on OWS.
http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2011/10/occupy-wall-street-must-occupy-congress-ag-offices/

"1. No more bailouts: Bring back real capitalism
2. End TBTF banks
3. Get Wall Street Money out of legislative process"

Video of the leader of a prominent group that has organized over 15,000 protests in almost every country worldwide (except for north Korea) speaking at OWS with the human microphone to what sounds like all 15 of them. Judging by the sound of the human mic, they were either hired very inexpensively (or on loan from Miit Romney's landscaper).

Right on, Dr. P. One wonders what "conservative" value they think they're advancing. Free competition in open markets? No, these sub-morons fiercely defend the status of bailed out banks. Rule of Law? Yes if it involves a park ranger issue like requiring people to get all applicable permits to protest; no if it involves genocidal fraud by the nitwits' Wall Street heroes who require trillions in subsidies just for life support.

I actually know a few meatheads who react like this. Their critical thinking skills are non-existent, and many of them are cowardly bullies.

The fact that they're 100% on the wrong side of history, like Nazi apologists, doesn't occur to them because they've never read history (or understood it worth a shit).

I'm always curious how many of the posts on sites like Bretbarts are fake. By that I mean fluff or sockpuppets of various types?
I know there are no shortage of people who suscribe to that sort of thinking, but its a question that is bothering me more and more, especially after watching trolls and obvious mis information posters for a while.
Thanks Daily Bail..

"Wow, check out the comments on this story at Breitbart's website."

Reminds me of a corral full of establishment sheeple bleating insanely at some imaginary wolf no one can see, but they know it's there because their herders say so.

Of course, Planning is a dangerous "terrorist" plott.
Anyone, even druling idiots knows that if ou are going to take a, lets say a Children Soccerteam for a Naboring town for a match or even worse a turnament. All that requires planning and forebearemce, timing and actions regarding whos doing what and when.

If you dont know how mutch work that actualy is, then try that and learn.
Everything has a start or a begining. This "OWS have learned their history.

So, since hacking is illegal we will soon see Tom Ryan arrested, tried & imprisoned, right?

Or, is he actually employed by some overt/covert Security Service?

Inquiring minds want to know.
