REINCE PRIEBUS CONCEDES VICTORY TO TRUMP
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus just threw in the towel. Trump has won the race, and he will be the nominee, barring the resurrection of Reagan.

However, even pledged delegates can abstain on the first ballot. In that case, the nominee would only have to get a majority of delegates WHO VOTE, but depending on the math, it might be possible to deny Trump a majority on the first ballot.
At which point... all of these GOP insiders would just be shocked and chagrinned before the "will of the people" or whatever.
I'm not saying this will happen, but I would bet you a donut that somebody in the GOP leadership is at least game-planning such a scenario.

Ultimately, though, I think Trump's overwhelming popularity and momentum will steamroll the remaining opposition to him. If he loses the nomination on the convention floor, however, Cleveland will be a riot.
