Outrage from bankers shows up after a few drinks in Davos

"As former Goldman vice chairman and current Under Secretary of State Robert Hormats grabbed a beer, someone shouted over the din:

How absolutely earth-shattering. FINALLY constitutional rule of law has been restored again in America thanks to this alcohol-fueled quip launched by one NOBODY to ANOTHER. We can all finally breathe out a heavy sigh of relief now and go back to our Big Macs. Wow, I don't know about YOU guys but this REVOLUTION thing is exhausting huh?

GIVE ME A MOTHERFUCKING BREAK!

When are you people going to WAKE UP and realize it's time to THROW BRICKS NOT QUIPS! Every time I log on here I read nothing but people splitting hairs and debating which representatives are "on OUR side" and "which AREN'T".

NEWSFLASH: NONE of them are on 'YOUR' side, dipshits. Haven't you EVER heard of the Good Cop Bad Cop Routine? The ONLY representative with a PROVEN track record of "being on your side" is Dr Ron Paul. I know, I know; you don't trust him because he speaks in coherent sentences using REAL words and YOU'RE too busy "putting food on your family". You are more preoccupied with the burning question, "Is our children learnin'?".

And of course Dr Paul ALSO lacks the community-organizing experience of Hussein Oscama. Whatever the FUCK "community-organizing" means.

I know you people criticize anyone proposing a VIOLENT revolution but HEY, how about AT LEAST engaging in some PACIFIC 'revolutionising(*)" instead?. (* I like to make-up words every now and then, I find it makes Bush followers more at ease with what I'm saying). JUST GET *OFF* YOUR GODAMN ASSES AND DO *SOMETHING* WILL YA?!?!?!?!

Are you TIRED of being TAXED TO DEATH? THEN FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! For example when I noticed that 2/3 of my landline phone bill consisted in vaguely-defined state & federal taxes, I CANCELLED MY PHONE SERVICE! Now I not only SAVE MONEY, I'm DENYING these fucksters the ability to continue to LEECH off of me. And I still have my cellphone.

Called to JURY DUTY? Watch them SQUIRM when you inform them that you intend to exercise your 6th Amendment right of JURY NULLIFICATION when the time for a verdict arrives (look it up, it's a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT that judges & courts PURPOSELY avoid mentioning ...because it basically renders THEM irrelevant.)

If you lack the BALLS to do what REALLY needs to be done, then at least have the fucking gumption to get CREATIVE and find your OWN ways to SCREW the system and show your displeasure. Don't WRITE your 'representatives' MAIL THEM A BAG OF SHIT INSTEAD. LAUGH OUT LOUD during political speeches. Write or stamp on every dollar bill that comes your way "MADE IN CHINA" or "GOT GOLD?" or "END THE FED"

But for HEAVEN'S SAKE *STOP* this ENDLESS blah-blahing over "how to fix the system".

This system CANNOT be fixed. And ESPECIALLY not from WITHIN. And LEAST OF ALL by idle chatter. Therefore I propose that the DB start a sticky forum wherein people can contribute peaceful, innovative -yet still-effective- ways with which outraged citizens can REVOLT.

REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT REVOLT

"Seriously, have you ever done it? Do you include a note?"

The keyword people here is: C-R-E-A-T-I-V-E

The 'bag of shit' is easily replaced with a full color photograph of a curly steamer accompanied by a note along the lines of, "THIS is what I think about YOU. THIS is what comes out of YOUR mouth every time you speak as far as I'M concerned. I'm FED-UP with your CRAP. WORK TO RESTORE CONSTITUTIONAL RULE OF LAW IN THIS LAND OR THE NEXT TIME I'LL FEDEX YOU THE *REAL* THING "

They also sell some very realistic looking plastic turds if you want to splurge.

The whole idea behind this concept of flinging shit is actually a well-documented behaviour among us primates as a way of showing EXTREME displeasure and rejection. And it is also instinctively recognized among our species as the final warning sign before AGGRESSION arises.

RR--I have long wanted to say something to Ken, and now I will say it to you--since you are obviously WAY more coherent and can actually give me a reasoned response. I do want to keep it civil, though, because as Micheal Jackson says, "I'm a lover not a fighter" (LOL) and really don't like to take too much in the way of attacks, just sayin'....

So what? I mean it. Really, dude--today I went outside with my torch and pitchfork in hand, looked around, and didn't see YOU anywhere in sight--so then I went back inside my house. My next best alternative was to start spreading information about what's going on through my keyboard. If you want to send your congress critters something like a box of 'whatever', be my guest. I don't think they'd even open it. I barely even believe they open letters and emails.

The ONLY thing they understand is the voting booth. Unfortunately for us, there is way too much time we have so sit and bear their stupid decisions, but hey--we voted the so called geniuses in, so I guess we deserve to suffer their idiocy for now. Meantime, I am doing my best to open people's eyes to what's going on so they CAN make a better decision next time.

What is wrong with that?

@SNK

First off, thank you for stressing the WAY in "WAY more coherent than Ken". Now -at least in Gobias book- I'm ABOVE Bot Programs and general household furniture.

But I digress. OK, I saw you standing out there with the pitchfork but I ducked back inside because the microwave popcorn had stopped popping ..and you know how it starts burning QUICKLY after that. I came out later again but everyone was gone so I figured the revolution was over and that we'd won.

Seriously now. I TRULY DO believe that ONLY raging mob violence willdraw REAL attention to the grassroots FURY that's SEETHING over the utter and complete RANSACKING of this country by Goldman Sachs et al. That's just the REALITY of how political change needs to occur in situations such as ours where there is a COMPLETE DISCONNECT between the wishes & expectations of most working-class citizens VS the ACTIONS of their elected officials. Oh sure, they SAY (some of them at least) all the right things, it's just that they never IMPLEMENT what they promise.

So for the record, here's MY personal take on the topic of VIOLENT REVOLUTION:

1) YES, I TRULY think we DO need one. NOTHING short of it will EVER gets our politicians attention nor our house in order. You CANNOT try to use the rules to win this game because the rules are RE-WRITTEN as we go, continuously evermore in favor of corporate interests.

2) I ALSO believe (nah, KNOW) that approx. 80% of my fellow Americans are RETARDS & BALL-LESS MORONS and hence UNWORTHY of me making ANY extreme form of sacrifice for either THEM or their fucking stupid Burger KIng/ Shopping Mall Culture. I've already decided to LEAVE this country sooner or later anyway. Again. Think of me as staying behind and taking potshots like a sniper at the enemy while we send out our more DISPENSIBLE MORONS as cannon-fodder.

3) Let all those ASSHOLES who are always WHINING about their right to bear arms go put their money where their mouth is!
And the clowns that like to dress up in camo clothes and practice military manuevers; hey dipshits ..HERE'S your chance to showcase those shooting skills motherfucker. Oh yeah, I understand. At least the DEER didn't shoot back huh?

4) You NEED to find a MORE EFFECTIVE way to VOICE your PROTEST than thru a simple keyboard, which has nowadays become like the proverbial asshole, in the sense that EVERYBODY HAS ONE. Do you REALLY think a stream of strongly-worded letters to KIng George would have made him release England's grip on us and withdraw head down in shame?

Revolution: First Weapon very simple...........Civil disobedience
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_disobedience

Apply: Every one Must first dump all mutual funds and all other corporate scam ass wipe worthless stink stock paper and it will crash the casino which feeds the BEAST. Stop all pension contributions from Pay checks

This one action by USA working class will kill the Beast.............

What next?lol

Start ur own community Barter system...................no more taxes

Following the Peterloo massacre of 1819, poet Percy Shelley wrote the political poem The Mask of Anarchy later that year, that begins with the powerful images of the unjust forms of authority of his time — and then imagines the stirrings of a radically new form of social action. It is perhaps the first modern statement of the principle of nonviolent protest.[5] A version was taken up by the author Henry David Thoreau in his essay Civil Disobedience, and later by Gandhi in his doctrine of Satyagraha.[5] Gandhi's passive resistance was influenced and inspired by Shelley's nonviolence in protest and political action.[6] In particular it is known that Gandhi would often quote Shelley's Masque of Anarchy to vast audiences during the campaign for a free India.[5][7]

Thoreau's 1849 essay Civil Disobedience, originally titled "Resistance to Civil Government", the driving idea behind the essay was that of self-reliance, and also how one is in morally good standing as long as one can "get off another man's back"; so one does not necessarily have to physically fight the government, but one must not support it or have it support one (if one is against it). This essay has had a wide influence on many later practitioners of civil disobedience. In the essay, Thoreau explained his reasons for having refused to pay taxes as an act of protest against slavery and against the Mexican-American War.

Here is my Rant: Harsh Reality for coward majority dumb fuck American Masses

" What do we actually manufacture in this country anymore..? "

We manufacture DEBT!

We create virtual work for a virtual product that adds zero value to society outside of the debt world.

For example:

We charge something on a credit card to buy a foreign manufactured product at Wal Mart.

That foreign product is physical. It has value. You can touch it. Feel it. It required a certain amount of knowledge and skill to create. You needed some sort of natural resource to make it. Fabric, plastic, stone, wood whatever and that takes manpower and overhead and time to mine, weave, sew, cut, shape, etc. It requires overhead and warehouses, security and transportation. Some of those things requires costly energy.

That physical product has a lot of overhead adding to the cost of production

However!

Now being a debt manufacturer like the USA, that's cheap and it has a low overhead to get into the business.

The debt portion on the above transaction is what the USA now manufactures. The charge on the credit card is virtual. No natural resources required. No skills.

Debt is a concept that resides in your mind. It's virtual. You can't touch it or feel it. No security, transportation, shipping, of goods or warehousing of product. It's just debt.

Worse case from a physical aspect debt is a magnetic impulse on a disk drive representing a number on a spreadsheet or in a database. It may also be a number and signature on a piece of paper.

No hard work. No real work required to make it. Just charge it.

How do I end up with calling it the manufacturing of debt?

Because it's an entire USA industry built around it to the point that debt itself has become it's own industry. A virtual industry with no real value.

We take that debt... that credit card bill and we make a business out of it.

The business is that we take bets on weather that debt will be paid off or not paid off. We call it investing.

Maybe we get a group of peoples credit card bills and bunch the bills together and buy, sell, and trade them all and place bets on weather they will be paid off or not

Some of those bills will not be paid and so we create insurance on the debt and we trade that too.

One huge pyramid of busy work for a concept residing inside of the human mind

We create tens of thousands of jobs counting, sorting, tracking, insuring, betting, watching the debt that people created. Watching who has what and how much.

But it's all virtual. Debt is not physical.

One might ask how is any of this making society better and raising the standards of living for everyone?

Creating debt jobs has the advantage of not driving up inflation due to placing increased demands on natural resources that may be in short supply. The elites money lose value when inflation takes off.

Creating debt jobs, tracking, trading, insuring, etc.. creates virtual busy work that keeps people pre-occupied so that we don't have social chaos from wealth imbalances. The virtual work doesn't use natural resources.

From a global perspective I think that we have so much overcapacity and efficiency that these virtual busy work jobs are the only thing that we can create without causing mass inflation in our system and that is why we create debt jobs and virtual work.

The ponzi mortgage scam was just a slight twist on this theme.

Like wouldn't we be better off if all the people in the debt business were actually building something of real value or curing diseases or something?

Think about it.

LOL :IPHONE and IPOD is not consumer goods and American idol and obesity and teen pregnancy not American values. Wow, we do manufacture crap and export the crap like worthless toxic debt .

Think about it.

Tax Receipts Down Means Treasury Supply Up

Also, sales tax receipts were down 7.7% yoy in December.

Down the same in November. December of 2008 was supposed to be the bottom. Doesn't look like it.
-----------------------------------------------------

Month to date tax receipts are now in for the entire month of December. They’re down 7.7% from December 2008, which is exactly the same rate of decline as November’s. We know that the TBAC and Treasury officials were not anticipating that in their debt sales forecast for the first quarter. They had assumed that a recovery was taking root and would continue to do so. That spells trouble for both bonds and stocks. Here’s why, and what to expect as a result.

Meanwhile, the implications of the NAR’s data on pending home sales are terrifying. Click here to download complete report in pdf format (Professional Edition Subscribers). "Do you REALLY think a stream of strongly-worded letters to King George would have made him release England's grip on us and withdraw head down in shame?"

Yes, on, March 16, 1778, The British peace commission sent to Philadelphia offered to repeal ALL TAXES and SUBMIT to all American demands except independence. The proposed compromise was rejected by Congress. Many British leaders agreed with the colonies. The former Prime Minister, Pitt the Elder, opposed taxing the colonies. But the best thinking came from Edmund Burke, who opposed military action when war clouds started to appear, saying: "People must be governed in a manner agreeable to their temper and dispositions."

The Americans finally realized that any taxation without their consent was against their disposition. Perhaps if they had taken that view in 1766 when they opposed the Stamp Act, an acceptable solution may have been discovered, short of war. Unfortunately, the issue was resolved by following the example of the sixteenth-century Dutch — war against a mother country that insisted on taxing them in a manner they did not like. Do you think we might have screwed up not taking the deal? This rejection was because our founders already had in mind great plans of taxing us. All we did was sacrifice for the cause, and then just trade one crab pot for another, but the banker melting the butter was the same...

What were the people doing in 1765? They were tarring and feathering British tax agents. What were they doing in 1794? They were tarring and feathering American tax agents.

Reference Shays rebellion, and whiskey rebellion, and Fries rebellion for examples of how we merely traded one yoke for another.

And if the letters don't work, and they probably won't, get the herd animals like Gobias to vote out their "extra special, divinely inspired, free pass voting" heroes with the rest of us and turn this m@ther f@cker over. Convincing them will be the hard part, they want to bring back the Raygun Weeblelution so we can go back to giving 2 billion a year to the Talibonies. Reagan's finest moment... Next to giving weapons of mass destruction to Saddam, and giving superior military technology to the Saudi's as an act against Israel.

Politicians- bought, media- bought, courts- captured, corporations- now living, breathing, persons, with greater established rights than the rest of us. citizens- straw men.

I would never leave, the blood of my relatives calls to me from the soil where I live. It was taken from the natives hundreds of years ago by my family and others.

"Now -at least in Gobias book- I'm ABOVE Bot Programs and general household furniture."

That is funny. Gobias has already freely admitted he wants to see America fail, just so he can say "I told you so". Yet he cannot accept his long standing role in the build up to the climax...

ALL ARE GUILTY.

Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! The Revolution We Need...The Leadership We Have - A Message, And A Call, From The Revolutionary Thomos Jefferson Spirit Party, USA. This Is NOT The Best of All Possible Worlds…And We Do NOT Have to Live This Way

We live under a system of capitalism-imperialism...a system in which U.S. imperialism is the most monstrous, most oppressive superpower…a system driven by a relentless chase after profit, which brings horror upon horror, a nightmare seemingly without end, for the vast majority of humanity: poverty and squalor...torture and rape…the wholesale domination and degradation of women everywhere...wars, invasions and occupations…assassinations and massacres…planes, missiles, tanks and troops of the USA bombarding people in faraway lands while they sleep in their homes or go about their daily lives, blasting their little children to pieces, cutting down men and women in the prime of life, or in old age, kicking down their doors and dragging them away in the middle of the night…while here in the USA itself the police harass, brutalize and murder youth in the streets of the inner cities—over and over again—and then they spit out their maddening insults, insisting that this is “justified,” as if these youth are not human beings, have no right to live, deserve no respect and no future.
For millions in the inner cities, if they are not killed at an early age, their likely future is prison. This system has robbed so many youth of the chance for a decent life and has got far too many living, dying and killing for nothing—nothing good—nothing more than messing up people and murdering each other on the streets of the cities here...or joining the military, being trained to be murderers on a mass scale, massacring people in countries across the globe. A system which offers millions and millions of youth no greater purpose, no better fate, than crime and punishment, or to become a mindless killing machine for the system itself—that alone is reason enough to sweep this system from the face of the earth!

Some say this is all “god’s will” and we just have to “put it all in god’s hands.” But it was not some god that got us in this situation…and it won’t be some god that will get us out of it. The truth is, there are ??? gods…and we ??? need them!

THE REVOLUTION WE NEED
It is this system that has got us in the situation we’re in today, and keeps us there. And it is through revolution to get rid of this system that we ourselves can bring a much better system into being. The ultimate goal of this revolution is community Barter system: A world where people work and struggle together for the common good…Where everyone contributes whatever they can to society and gets back what they need to live a life worthy of human beings…Where there are no more divisions among people in which some rule over and oppress others, robbing them not only of the means to a decent life but also of knowledge and a means for really understanding, and acting to change, the world.
This revolution is both necessary and possible. This is the truth that is covered up and lied about, but we have the facts and the analysis to back this up. This capitalist-imperialist system is in crisis…This system is bankrupt…This system is rotten to the core…This system is based on ruthless exploitation…This system commits so many monstrous crimes, and causes so much unnecessary suffering. We do not need to be sacrificing even more to “rescue” this system. This system needs to be swept aside…its crimes against humanity stopped cold…its institutions dismantled, and replaced by ones that empower people to build a new society free of exploitation and oppression. It is true: now is the time, in this country, to go all-out to seize the power away from those who rule over us and to bring a new power, serving our interests, into being. Now IS the time to be WORKING FOR REVOLUTION—to go all out to seize the power.

All this is not possible without leadership. But the thing is…Where is the Leadership?

Ken, you might want to read my response to RR on this that I posted above. The facts are the facts, make believe walks.

We had a free pass, but our founders had other purposes in mind, " meet the new boss, same as the old boss", many supported Washington from under the bed, and then took credit for his great works when it was all over.

Michael Maresco Responds to John Tate

* Daily Paul Liberty Forum

Lifted from the comments section of John Tate's "Statement Concerning C4L's Issue Discussion Program"

Mr. Tate,

With all due respect, I must state my utter revulsion of this move. You have punched me in the gut and I am barely able to contain my indignation. I have been biting my tongue and "stepping away from the keyboard" for years now and I have finally had enough. While it would be easy to just delete my membership (and I cannot condemn those who are), I will not abandon ship and am here to tell you that I am fighting mad.

There are festering wounds, HQ has avoided for years, that are about to go gangrenous. Cauterization may be CfLs only hope. While most everyone else is righteously outraged over Mr. Buck's non-r3VOLution war stance, the association with a "thought crime", warrior is perhaps even worse.

And this is to say nothing of what else the dogs will dig up, now that you have riled them with this inconsiderate move.

This organization was sold to the people who donated, (to a presidential campaign), as a bottom up organization. It has been the exact opposite. The lack of transparency and accountability is astounding. This must change.

In consultation with friends, I am here to state that it is time for you all to fulfill your word about creating a "Bottom-Up Organization." We are calling for a proper board of officers elected by the grassroots. We would like to see a timetable for this.

Until such time that these concerns are acknowledged, and action begun upon, I will cease any promotion of this organization and will be stating my opinion that CfL deserves NO support until CfL begins to live up to it's word, and promise.

Sadly,

Michael Maresco

"I'm DENYING these fucksters the ability to continue to LEECH off of me. And I still have my cellphone."

Great, that cellphone will make it easier for the black helicopters to round you up. You are aware that all cellphones have a government mandated GPS tracking device installed, it's always on, and law enforcement (and presumably any other government agency) can access your location data, at any time, without a warrant?

Be sure you carry your phone under your tin foil cap.

One simple solution would be for Obama to put an old fashioned price on the heads of arrogant destructive banksters. Perhaps a bounty of as little as $50/head would be all that is needed. Nice and legal of course. Cheaper than caring for them for decades in prison at taxpayer expense.

Such a move could turn Wall Street into a ghost town in a week. Talk about a breath of fresh air.
Can you imagine what it would smell like without the malodorous flatulence of thousands of sick a-ssholes ?

I would never have argued in favor of bank nationalization until I saw how phenomenally badly the private sector large banks responded to the crisis. Its clear now we as citizens do not need them to exist at all in their present form.
So lets be done with them.

Three Cheers for ‘Bank Bosses Are Criminals’
March 25, 2009

A group calling themselves Bank Bosses Are Criminals (BBAC) have claimed responsibility for the attack on Sir Fred (the Shred) Goodwin’s house and car. The much loathed former Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive had his plush Edinburgh mansion trashed and his prized Mercedes S600 badly damaged in the dawn attack – just 24-hrs after it was revealed his former employers still pick up the tab for insuring his fleet of luxury motors.

The BBAC issued a statement saying…

“We are angry that rich people, like him, are paying themselves a huge amount of money, and living in luxury, while ordinary people are made unemployed, destitute and homeless.

This is a crime. Bank bosses should be jailed.

This is just the beginning.”

Tin foil cap? WTF are you talking about? YOU'RE the one worrying about getting tracked by GPS & being followed around by black helicopters.
Dude, you're NOT taking your meds again!.

Interesting comments from ALL, thanks (well, except maybe John S with his nonsensical 'tin foil hat' comment.) And now back to reading Ken's links. There goes the REST of my weekend ...

The trick to what you are proposing is to create change without the government stepping in and going all fascist on us. They've already shown that they can shit on the Constitution any which way they want so a little thing like posse comitatus sure isn't going to stop them. They may even prefer it as they will look like the victims in the eyes of the dull, uninformed masses. Someone shoots some banksters and the tanks roll in the streets to "protect us".

If you want revolution (and it will come.....when we hit 25% unemployment), it's best to start with civil disobedience rather than shooting people.

Correct. It'll START with civil disobedience but sooner or later it'll INEVITABLY need to progress to shooting people if it plans on going anywhere.
