Bernie Sanders: "Mitt Romney Is Right, Class Warfare Is Being Waged In America Today, The Problem Is That The Wrong Side Is Winning"

Video - Bernie Sanders with Keith Olbermann - Oct. 5, 2011

I am by no means a Socialist, but Sanders makes a solid point, though his solution could use some work.  The problem is that taxes and spending are both too high, except for taxes paid by U.S. corporations who utilize loopholes provided by a captured Congress.

Sen. Bernie Sanders takes issue with Mitt Romney's definition of class warfare, saying:

  • "Class warfare is being waged in America today - the problem is, the wrong side is winning." Sanders continues, "In America now you have the most unequal distribution of income and wealth of any major country on Earth, with the top 400 wealthiest people owning more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans."

In scandinavia(you know, commys) and as a ex. Norway they have same Tax level as a citizen of USA.
Aprox 33% on regulare income. And 28% wrightof on intress.
Free School up to Master degree.
Sponsored kindergarden.
Free(compared to a Amrican, just symbolic) healthceare, its infact less for a person to end up in a hostpital than wisit the Doc.
Medic covere from a certain point(ca 200 dollars, obove that its free), to life long ilnesses, like Insulin.
And so on.
They dont pay insurances regarding healtceare at all, in non of the Scandinavian countrys, incl Island and Russia.

And still they runn on surpluss, even atfter the initial downdrwaft from the colaps in USA.
Thats the scope of destruction on USA, cutt the military spendings, to a Defence size, and all the wars and USA runs on Pluss within a cuple of years.
And you dont have to truch anything else.

And then deal with the chriminal Wall Street.
Its not complicated, its infact scearingly simple.

The ubiquitous class structure labels (lower, middle, upper) are losing their usefulness (especially considering the incredible shrinking middle class) for helping us understand our economic differences and conflicts. I suggest we try these class categories: Dependent, Working, Rich, Crazy Rich. Right now the Crazy Rich are causing a lot of damage to our economy. I explain further at http://www.ragingwisdom.com/?p=79
