BANKERS BEHIND BARS - Petition To Put Bankers In Jail Passes 350,000 Signatures In Two Days

UPDATE - The online petition was started 2 weeks ago, already has more than 650,000 signatures, and is growing by 1,000 names every few hours.

Though focused on criminal EU bankers, the signatures are global in origin.

Jon Corzine, your time is coming...

I love it--even though it's addressed to the EU. Americans should direct a similar petition to the White House, but the following language from the European version should be amended:

"This can only be done by introducing strong legislation against market abuse, including criminal sanctions for bankers who ride roughshod over regulations or break our laws."

WE DON'T NEED ANY NEW FUCKING LEGISLATION OR REGULATIONS!!!!!

That is the biggest red herring in the entire political theater, and it fools everyone, every time. Why? Because it's a way to trot out the threadbare left-right puppet show, which mesmerizes the sheep at Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews square off against Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh in a tag team event that's about as effective against CRIMES AGAINST THE MIDDLE CLASS as a Wrestlemania event.

I once heard Maddow go on about how great the TARP bailout was "because our ATM machines work." Likewise, O'Reilly confessed on air THIS YEAR that he had no idea that Chase was part of JP Morgan. Every one of them is either a moron or a tool. They are what the elite refer to as "useful idiots" precisely because they distract everyone from the real issue.

The issue is criminal fraud. It's a basic law that's 500+ years old and is maybe 5 elements long: (1) misrepresentation (2) of a material fact (3) intended to induce (4) reliance on the misrepresentation, which does in fact (5) cause monetary loss.

Debating over 10,000 pages draft regulations or legislation is utterly idiotic when straightforward black letter law would suffice to jail about 100,000 or more financial criminals.

Enough with the fake left-right crap. IT'S A PUPPET SHOW, AND YOU ARE GETTING CREAMED WATCHING IT.

Excellent point, Cheyenne. My thoughts exactly. "New legislation" has become a cant phrase having connotations of correcting past mistakes, although its actual, real-world referent is nothing but the twiddling of thumbs. The phrase is especially seductive, it seems, to members of the Blue Team -- gives them all kinds of warm, New-Deal fuzzies.

33 years ago, the Fed said their system works us
"only with credit....." This is admission that no one
pays any taxes and our misleaders spend nothing
since taxes cannot be paid with credit.

"Taxation" is an illusion that regulates consumption.

Never, not once, in the entire history of the Internet, has an online petition changed anything in the real world. Not once.

Pointless, masturbatory clicking, to no effect. Want to change the world? Put down the mouse and hit the streets.

Actually, the online petition against pink slime got the USDA to ban the product in school lunch programs, all in less than 2 weeks. I do get your point, but don't 'hate on' the efforts of others. I applaud anyone who takes action whether online or on the streets. It's a multi-faceted battleground.

Just to back up DB's point about petitions and such. Petitions in and of themselves won't usually do anything, but they often raise awareness and focus people's attention...which then leads to real results, perhaps three or four steps later. Hitting the streets can be one of those steps.

Having followed the crisis from the start, and the government responses to it, having gone from outrage to rage to despair and back again, only to see Occupy spring up seemingly out of nowhere, I can say with some certainty that the work of sites like the Daily Bail, Naked Capitalism and quite a few others have had a real effect. People in the streets wouldn't know to be in the streets were it not for all of the talk and chatter and discussion going on behind them. Beyond the internet, Dylan Ratigan has been a one-man army with his television show for the issues we talk about here. Moreover, Cheyenne's new film "Bailout," will likely raise awareness for a lot of people who just don't normally read about finance and banking. There's all kinds of stuff going on that may, in the end, have a real and tangible, positive effect. We'll see. My personal view is that we will win eventually. The cat is out of the bag and TPTB are running out of cash. Change is coming, believe me.

We need more of this...

"Court recordings that charge PFG founder Russell Wasendorf Sr. with fraud..."

because this scumbag freely concedes this in the very first sentence of his suicide note:

"I have committed fraud."

http://wcfcourier.com/business/local/wasendorf-arrested-for-making-false-statements-to-u-s-regulatory/article_4229c9fc-cd13-11e1-bba1-0019bb2963f4.html

You see? The criminal understands his crime better than any politician does.

All in all, this is a rehash of Madoff, who went to authorities and confessed his crimes. That's what law enforcement has come to these days when a financial crime involving billions of dollars is at issue: wait for the perps to show up and confess before doing anything; short of that, watch porn or do nothing at all.

We have been iignorant since 1907, but ignorant NO MORE. These bankers have manipulated our government and lives way to long and it ends NOW. I have seen the many patents for foreclosure processes and profit centers as set forth in various SEC prospectus reports and bragging about profits based on anticipated wind falls of foreclosures. We are aware of the banking accounting enteries made by banks and not disclosing banks put in ZERO skin in the game - I did not write the policy Federal Reserve Bank did - see their publications- I like Chicago's best as it explains accounting entry and how banks file 1099c to collect on credit actually due to the borrowers and claim the credits were abandoned by alleged borrower----this does not count the securitization fraud - unprefected securities ---naked selling--illlegal---and public servants then allowing criminals to get away with crimes in courts----too much undisclosed---I do not liek fact that these bank people and their crooked attorneys smoke in mirror, play Las Vegas with our homes, jobs, and lives and then expect to be bailed out to hide their crimes and take advantage of people who are not up on the crimes and smoke and mirrors. Someday ---everyone allowing these crimes will need to be judged and will not be a good day. Stop wtih the oppression with 1st step get rid of the private bankers who make the profits at expense in ruining our lives ---not to mention encourage inflation. We choose not to be slaves to inflation or banks period.

Hell, no. I ain't gonna sign. I would contribute to the cost of the following ceremony, which I have been designing for years.

Bankers are brought to the UN Plaza, where several posts have been erected. They are stood in line by alphabetical order. Ambassadors from Third world countries and Europe, in full ceremonial regalia, parade out of the building and each has a turn to confront each banker, remove his white gloves, and slap the bastard on each side of the face. There are several types of uplifting music, played by a brass band, which can accompany the scenes.

Once this is done, bankers are led out in groups of five, blindfolded and tied to the posts, then are shot by the Haitian Light Rifle Brigade, by the Vietnamese LIght Foot, The Cambodian Canonneers, and their heads severed from their bodies by the Ukranian Decorative Sabre Batallion. Journalists are made to drink their blood and ritually humiated by the force-feeding of at least 3 false news reports they have penned.

We need this sort of ceremony to counter the inevitable revisionism which will spring up amid the whining and grinding of teeth as justice is seen to be done, then done, which will enable us to all move on to the next, best, episide of Life On Earth.

Qui m'aime" me suit.

Excellent points Cheyenne and Pitchfork. The regulations are already there against price fixing, conspiracy, and fraud. The petition should be that existing rules and regulations are enforced, and that the entire banking industry be dismantled. Those responsible for the criminal acts must forfeit the assets they gained from their criminal activity and go to jail. So sick of the bankers getting a wrist slap and a hug in exchange for political donations. Reform campaign finance as well!

Petition? LOL as useless as a pleading "letter to your Congressman" for redress of grievances. Not worth the paper its printed on. Its a sign up sheet with your own signature for the bankster/gov 'Enemies List' of 'terrorists' to be rounded up later and scapegoated.

Speak the only language the financial terrorists understand: NO MONTHLY CREDIT CARD DEBT REPAYMENT until indictments are brought.

If public knew how close we are to the cliff's edge and how little we now have to lose, they might take this action. The Big Boys want more debt? give it to 'em. Those citizens who continue to play by business as usual? Tell them to shut up when they complain because the predictable business as usual outcome then ensues.

Regulators need to start going to prison together with the banksters, whose crimes are covered up and exacerbated by the regulators themselves.

petition....lmfao.

Oh come on now. Did voting change anything? Does it really do anything for people?

the previous commenter had it right....put down the fucking mouse and hit the streets.

But of course, its a bit late for that since the "free" world you were living in (or believed you are living in) is nothing more than a hoax....a virtual reality. The reality is that THEY are in control. The reality is that the change you desire will not come anytime soon or easily. THEY control everything you do and everything you own. They own you.

But those are the hard cold facts of our reality. It is also ex tremely unlikely that "americans" (whoever that is...indians, immigrants, illegal aliens, landowners, etc.) will come together to affect a change in our society here and abroad. Americans are divided by issue, race, religion, sex, status, beliefs and whatever it is that THEY have convinced you is important. There is no culture of Americans. Its too diverse and only overlaps at the fringes. THEY call it diversity and THEY tell you its what makes America great. Nothing is further from the truth. America is a place, and Americans are those that have decided to live here. The only true Americans are the native Indians and they are becoming extinct. The rest of us are simply "residents" for which we submit to the powers that be or suffer the consequences.

You must face the facts as to where we are today, and why we are here, and how we got here. Most it not all have blood on our hands with the state of affairs through complicity or complacency. Either way, you are just as guilty as those who you despise, hate or wish were not in control.

I could give you so many examples. Its all staring you in the face. Thus the term "face value". What you see is what you get. So you are left with absurdity as your acceptable reality and accept it as the norm.

How absurd you ask? Does anyone want to really know? Just ask.

The presence of self serving investment houses is evidenced by the badly crumbling central industrial region in Flint and Detroit, Michigan. The fact that Obummer's own 'jobs czar' exported his own factory to China points out what lightweight self-serving, self-righteous twits are running the show. A well managed trade policy AND competent investors can make a resurrection of an industrial base a reality. The presence of over 50% of Wall Street trades done by high-velocity computer trading for a year back as of last October proves the usefulness of a beneficial capitalist market was fucked to death by a pack of crooks with only self interest in mind. Let the hangings begin and I will tell them when to stop. Robespierre talked too much.

They could have doubled their responses if it was " Should Bankers found guilty of fraud be executed " .
It works in China .We see time and time again these companies commit fraud and gain billions in profits and only get fined millions ! So the old saying " Crimes doesn't pay " no longer applies .
P.S. Government Agencies ,we can do the math ,why can't you ?

I would love to see some fraud convictions; however, they would be extremely difficult to prosecute due to the way fraud laws are written (I am a lawyer).

Without giving an opinion on any actual pending or potential case (because lawyer rules), I can say in general that the third element of fraud in Cheyenne ("(3) intended to induce") is typically very hard to prove without the person outright admitting it or a "smoking gun" type document. The prosecutor would actually have to prove that they deliberately misled people - not simply that they should have known that they were doing harm or that they ended up being misleading. The legal standard of intent is much higher than what we colloquially refer to as "intent."

So I would love to see fraud pursued as an option, but it ain't going to happen unless new laws get written. I don't buy all the "bought and paid for" conspiracy theories: a much simpler explanation is that nobody wants to spend time on a big prosecution effort that is doomed to fail. It would be a political disaster.

TL;DR: fraud is notoriously difficult to prosecute (I am a lawyer).

Put them in jail? The politicians won't even separate investment banking or break up the big banks so they are no longer "too big to fail".

What they did had a major impact on our financial future and all we could do is write this game.

I am very happy to dream along with everyone else in this comment section and refer to the French revolution as the best solution.
However, where are the safeguards, that this whole thing does not end up a free for all against anyone and everyone, just because someone says " I think he is one of them - off with his head" just like bush says " there goes another terrorist - kill him!"
We need to CREATE a loving mind set, that becomes so powerful, that good ideas will win the day and the future of this planet.

The lion, a true 'alpha predator', grabs his still living human victim and licks off the skin, then the blood, and then chews it. Any socially sick ratbastard feeling entitled to blind-side the general public and call it honorable 'alpha male' activity needs to be shown the door. The Semites and the White supremist Thule group pushed their wares in WWII and they are back at it. When we wake up and go about our day, we do NOT covet, or seek to steal everything we can from our neighbors. Such is beneath the dignity of civilized people. Anyone consciously raping, pillaging, and stealing and burning their neighbors has tossed down the gauntlet, like the lion grabs its victims. Put these ratbastards in prison as long as it takes and confiscate all their families' wealth until they pay back the damage. Or hang them. It makes no difference to me. I am neither their savior nor their goy. Integrity or bust.

Now is the time to join forces with those you would not normally consider.
This is all starting to leak out to the main stream media... finally. We just need to KEEP THE HEAT on them. We will soon be posting new petition and email campaign info as well as protest ideas. We just need more people following this group and we can use resources from the Tea Party, Occupy and other groups. THEY win as long as they can keep us arguing with each other.
WE need to come together with people we wouldn't normally work with to bring these criminals DOWN! Spread the word, others have carried the load of exposing this activity. Now we the people NEED to come out and make it a major issue in the news and in this political cycle.
Every day we receive more and more disclosure of Financial Corruption by our Banking Institutions and Politicians from the G8 Nations. The U.S., U.K. and E.U. have been gaming the financial system in their favor to create Trillions of dollars on computer screens and stealing tons of Gold from other nations since at least 1911. The Federal Reserve Bank and other evil clones (IMF, BIS etc…) have plundered the world for quite long enough. The recently revealed evidence needs to be covered in depth by the Main Stream Media (Who is owned by the criminal Cabals).

We plan to start a huge letter writing, Fax sending and protesting campaign to the MSM and local representatives to get them to get them to bring these “Self proclaimed Elite’s” to justice. When the scope of the manipulation, wars and murder of so many innocents is revealed arrest and imprisonment will be the least of the “Elite’s” concerns. They have make billions of people slaves to debt. We toil, suffer and die in debt to them and unknowingly worship and grovel at their feet. They suppress technology that will conflict with their business model. Many technologies that could increase the quality of life and save lives of the people YOU love who have died of disease.

Join now, with us to bring the heat to the Media and our “Representatives” to set us free from the financial tyranny that we have been subjects to for generations. Become a member of this movement, there is room for everyone. Once we realize that the Left Wing and Right Wing are what gives flight to the same BEAST. The ideology of Liberal and Conservative thinking is important to our individual morality and beliefs. But the Elite use these differences to cause us to forget what we have in common. They use our differences to keep us at odds with each other and diverted from their corruption. Why deceive us “ignorant and useless eaters”? Because we outnumber them 99 to 1 and they are afraid of OUR power.

So, now put aside your political or religious differences and band together to expose this corruption and usher our world into a new era. We do not need a “New World Order” ran by self proclaimed rulers. They have no “divine right” to rule. They only have the power we give them. Let’s take that power back and create an “Era of Prosperity for ALL”! It is possible!

Say NO to any more WAR that is used to divert our attention from corruption when it starts to leak. We can join together and form a world of peace, I refuse to believe we cannot live together with our differences without butchering one another. What do we have in common? We love our families, our friends and we love peace. So, click the LIKE button and spread this web site to everyone you know. Join other movements that you normally would not associate with. The enemy of our enemy is our friend. This is NOT a place for political debate or bickering. It is a place to come together and break these chains.
