Bailout Video The Daily Show Complete Interview: Jon Stewart Vs. Jim Cramer And CNBC

Briefly, it was entertaining television at a minimum.  I think Stewart's point should have been made more clearly: why doesn't CNBC do more investigation and less regurgitation.  Theirs is a business carefully built around hype and puffery and that suits Cramer's personality rather well.  The biggest surprise of the show was that Cramer didn't put up even a semblance of a fight.  He was demonstrably submissive from his tone to his body language to his constant sheepish grin.

Stewart correctly nailed CNBC for being clueless cheerleaders disguised as market experts.

A commenter in here the other day provided great insight into the environment at CNBC having worked there.  Said it's a network of star wanna-bes all chasing top interviews instead of chasing stories.

I give Stewart kudos for telling the truth straight to cramer's submissive puss.

I have the Hulu clip above and the extended version with out-takes from The Daily Show inside.  This extended version is broken into 3 separate clips and includes approximately 7 minutes that were not broadcast.  And here is the link to the video menagerie of 4 clips that led to last night's interview.  Also after the jump are the 4 most embarrassing photos I could find of James Cramer.  Scroll all the way to the bottom.

It's about time someone on TV called out the "mASSters of the Universe" and CNBC. Cramer the Clown is a good example of the lack of true journalism on TV. It looks like Stewart's mom was one of the people that got taken by the crooks on WallStreet and he was pissed!

I have the most respect for Stewart and more credit to him for exposing Cramer criminal for his pump and dumps. Cramer is an illegal pump and dump that promotes his books and stocks that his friends own. He is always wrong. Cramer should be in jail.

The SEC has tried to get Cramer in the past. Perhaps the re-surfacing of the 2006 youtube video with aaron task will start the wheels of justice again, but I doubt it.

Financial Armageddon only fueled by TV, proving Americans believe what they see and hear...EVERYDAY! The truth is pain...and we are in for a FULL DOSE. Kudos John Stewart for making Cramer ADMIT his guilt. Maybe the IDOCRACY of America can be led onto a more stable path. CNBC= Can't Believe Broadcast Commentators
