We've published 25 stories since Friday evening so here's an easier way (no scrolling) to see the most recent headlines.  And if you think we should keep this list pinned at the top all the time, let me know in comments.

You have been on a motherfucking tear, DB, I defy any reader to challenge that fact. This site is becoming sine qua non.

thanks cheyenne...i'm trying...you would never know it from our comments...especially with 10--15 new stories per day...and comments spread all over, but we're getting 25-30,000 page views per day consistently now...so i'm publishing more to feed the hungry readers...

"you would never know it from our comments"

I take it you mean the # of comments is low given such a high website hit rate? If so, you're vastly undervalued. And that's a good place to be.

People watch this site. I'm sure of it.

Keep up the great work!

This is going to keep both of you guys up for many, many nights. I hope im the first to bring this info "Shit" to ya's, Tex

NOT ONE TIME HAVE YOU HEARD "STOP THE LOOTING AND START PROSECUTING"

Both political parties are equally-guilty in the **** of this nation's citizens. You have been stripped to the bone. The evidence is right in front of you. 60 Minutes did a segment tonight on the true spectre of unemployment and underemployment - people going from $70,000 a year jobs to making $15 a day scrounging in trash cans.

This entire mess - all of it - the entire housing bubble and subsequent collapse, along with the unemployment, poverty, privation and loss - occurred due to the intentional blindness and refusal to regulate by the people entrusted by YOU to keep your money, your credit, and our economy safe and sound.

These executives and the regulators knew full well what was going on. They were fully aware of the defective nature of these loans. They did nothing - on purpose - to stop it.

And now, more than three years into this mess, not only have they done nothing but neither political party has addressed the problem nor has there been one dollar of clawbacks or other forced recovery for the investors in this garbage paper, the one hundred million or more Americans who had their retirement and house values shredded, the 40 million on food stamps and the 20 million unemployed.

Every single one of these banks must be taken into receivership now. Every single one of these executives and each and every "regulator" who was either constructively or actually, as has been testified to under oath, aware of the fact that they were knowingly making and selling trash loans needs to be prosecuted for bank and wire fraud. Their fancy houses and boats need to be forfeited under civil asset forfeiture laws, just as yours would be if you bought them with proceeds of illicit activity.

To The Tea Party: Go Screw Yourself

Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible, as do we. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.

Oh, oppose government intervention eh? You mean, you oppose stringing up the people who break the law and steal people's homes and wealth? Private business is only private up until it rips someone off.

Notice what's missing from this mission statement and principles: Any mention of why I and others led people to mail tea bags to Congress and our President in the first place: rampant theft of over taxpayer money propping up FAILED private businesses.

Then look at what's over at TeaParty.Org: you'll find the usual pablum. Guns, gays, God.

Heh, I like talking about Guns, Gays and God too. Let's talk about all of them within the context of The Constitution, which is what the Tea Party was supposed to be about. In short:

In short, The Tea Party was and is about the the corruption of American Politics and the blatant and outrageous theft from all Americans that has resulted. It is about personal responsibility and enforcement of the law against those who have robbed, financially ****d and pillaged the nation.

Yet today we hear literally nothing about these issues among the so-called "Tea Party" candidates and their backers. Sarah Palin has not said one word about locking up the banksters that brought up on the housing bubble and economic collapse. Not one word about Bernanke's out-of-control Fed and the arguably unlawful monetization of Fannie and Freddie paper, not to mention the monetization of the Federal Debt. Not one word about throwing judges such as this one:

http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=2222649

And finally, one more:

ALL FIVE OF THE LARGEST BANKS ARE RESOLVED AS OUR FIRST ACT IN CONGRESS.

They caused it, they pay for it. Period.

Until and unless you do?

You bet I have 1 more to share............................

Denninger, Tea Party founder: “Tea Party is a joke”
http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2010/10/karl-denninger-tea-party-founder-tea-party-is-a-joke/

These will take any Happy you thought you had left away. Question..........................

How would 90% of the American Pissed Off People, do anything about this mess...? NO-Realy, what could we do as a team to put a stop to any of this. "Z" You always have a plan, how would you go about taking this mess of Squm out and get things running right and fair..

Yeah, DB, been wondering that myself, what SS just asked. Last fig I saw was 35-40K hits per day. You crossed 50 yet? I'd bet your hit rate tracks the price of silver.
Nov 4, 2010 at 3:49 PM | Unregistered CommenterCheyenne
today will maybe be the first day we cross 50k pageviews since early this year...but then it was a one-time boost from a big referrer...now we're getting there on our own...
Nov 4, 2010 at 4:28 PM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
Bravo, DB. Well done.

I wonder what'll happen when advertisers figure out they can get access to 50K smart motor scooters. Maybe nothing.

But something will happen with someone. Numbers that big are called markets.

You The Man DB. You and Dr. P are doing a hell of a JOB!
Keep it up I think it's working!
Nov 4, 2010 at 7:49 PM | Unregistered CommenterSagebrush
Sage, _DB_ is the one doing a hell of a job. I just drop in now and again. I mean, maybe he's got a gang of interns slaving away that he's never told me about, but I don't think so. If you 've never done this, you have no idea how time consuming it can be. Especially if you want to do it right.
Nov 4, 2010 at 8:27 PM | Registered CommenterDr. Pitchfork
yes...it's a time vacuum...the formatting...the links...the photos...the videos...the links to put in comments...the facebook and twitter and email icons...and then the commentary and the writing...then trying to get the story out there once it's published...it never ends...
Nov 4, 2010 at 8:40 PM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
It must be overwhelming, but you are doing it and reaching a lot of people with information the MSN won't even hint at. Don't burn yourself out, we need ya. Like I said before, You The Man.
