EXPOSED - Sarah Palin Conveniently Forgets That She Supported The Bailouts: "Protesters Want Bailouts Just Like Wall Street Fat Cats"

Video - Sarah Palin and Katie Couric discuss the bailouts - Sep. 2008

Before we get to her speech from last night, watch this and weep, er, I mean, get out your Palin-speak translator.  Palin's bailout hypocrisy is perhaps greater than any other political figure besides Rick Perry.  So we'll call it a tie between two idiots.

  • Couric: Why isn't it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? Allow them to spend more, and put more money into the economy, instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?
  • Palin: That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, we're ill about this position that we have been put in. Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it's got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade -- we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We've got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation.

My commentary on Palin and bailouts is here:

---

Now, listen to this speech she gave last night about the bailouts:

Raw Story

Sarah Palin says protesters in the Occupy movement are looking for a handout just like “Wall Street fat cats.”

“I would like to know that my federal government understands a vision that believes in empowerment versus entitlement,” Palin told an audience the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Victory Dinner Thursday. “To see this struggle in action, look no further than the Occupy Wall Street movement that is going on.”

“This Occupy Wall Street has — of course, when it first kind of got off the ground, people looked at it, I looked at it and was thinking these folks, they feel legitimate indignation about the Wall Street bailouts, financial institutions behaving recklessly and then we get stuck with the bill. And then three years later, many of us still quite ticked off because we don’t have assurances that those who caused the financial collapse in the first place, that they are being held accountable, and that it won’t happen again.”

She continued: “But this Occupy Wall Street crowd — now it seems to evolved a bit — Occupy Wall Street crowd is drawn now to, I believe, the wrong conclusions. They say, ‘Wall Street fat cats got a bail out, so now I want one too.’ And the correct answer is, ‘No one is entitled to a bailout.’”

To what degree did Sarah Palin support the bailouts ?? Certainly not to the same degree and with the same total criminal abandon as did Obama and the Dems in Congress...Driving 45 in a 35 is "speeding" and driving 145 in a 35 is also "speeding" but one is simply an ill-advised misdemeanor and the other is a criminal felony deserving of jail ( impeachment )...Why is it that the new American National Socialist Party has not common sense ?

You are flat out wrong. TARP was pushed by Bush and Paulson - both Republicans - supported by McCain and Palin, and Democrats. They are all guilty. Did you even watch the video?

What a bunch of duds. For kicks, I asked my better half if she'd remember if I had any sexual harassment settlements ala Pizza Face.

All I got was a dirty look...lol.

REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME

Both parties are controlled by corporate interest. Once people get that through their heads, we will not be able to solve any issues. This is not about parties are what politician is too blame. You get rid of one puppet for another. You need to get rid of the puppet master before things change. Who are the puppet masters of our government, well they are the military contractors who want to continue wars for profit, the medical industry, the insurance companies, and the worse one who are the source of the problem the Federal Reserve and the banking industry.

So stop with the non-sense of blaming the puppets, they are powerless and not in control of the system. People who control the money supply control everything. It is the life line of all the other industries. Our fight should be focused on the Fed's and the banking industry. Everyone else will fall after them.

Dr. P, interesting link. But that girl was not doing the "republican" side any favors. She didn't make much sense, and she seemed pretty clueless about what the protest was about. Still, cool to see that they were welcomed. Too bad there weren't more interviews.

Bachmann noticed that someone had taped an 'I'M LOST' sign to the back of her sweater and took a hint and left the room. Poor Sarah removed the one from the back of her sweater and can't take the hint. She seeks a new dance partner. Any takers? Mitt Romney taking a dive with an earnest but oblivious Sarah to allow Paul & Co. to win and revamp the banking system perhaps. Keep things light. Watch the Qof E wither up and leave her broom.

Anybody concerned about the soldiers of the banksters from both parties guarding the crooked voting machines with automatic weapons? This must be avoided.

I bet she'd like to forget this moment too!

The Beast in Sarah

In Alaska, a newsgirl named Sarah
Whose loins were a steamy caldera
Let one of the black wolverines
Get into her jeans
And use her garage to park his big black Pantera.

Sarah said "That car's really got the juice!,
And it fits in this garage really loose"!
But the Wolverine had to go,
And then Sarah, don't you know
True to form, started dating a Moose!

Later "Mama Griz" decided to marry
Her sweetheart polar bear, who's white ordinary.
Now "Once you go Black,
You never go back!"
Is liable to give Todd his first coronary!

So Mama Griz, the political over achiever
Put some ice on her hot Alaskan beaver.
But now we all know
That there's more to her show
'Cause this candidate once had "Jungle Fever"!

That's a good question. Many people, it seems, who were initially behind the bailout (the Treasury bailout aka TARP) have since come to the opposite position. Two examples are Glenn Beck and Alan Grayson.

Now, Grayson I don't have a problem with since he redeemed himself, by publicly and repeatedly eviscerating Federal Reserve officials such as Elizabeth Coleman, Scott Alvarez, and even Benjamin himself. His cross-examinations of these fools was the legal/entertainment equivalent of a beautifully marbled prime rib cooked Pittsburgh style, just delicious. So he's okay. I'll probably contribute to his '12 campaign just because those clips incite such bloodlust in me.

Glenn Beck I can't really judge since I don't watch his show. Perhaps he's redeemed himself by poleaxing Tim Geithner or Larry Summers or something. I just don't know. The few times I've seen him, I've been really impressed by his presentation of facts but been absolutely bewildered by some of his conclusions.

But Sarah Palin? Gimme a break. She licks her finger and holds it to the wind. In the way of atoning for one's sins, that's just not gonna cut it. Until she disembowels a representative of the Banker Party on principle, she's stuck with her endorsement of TARP, I'm afraid. And I don't see that ever changing, as her IQ simply isn't high enough for much other than cheerleading.

OWS is what the Tea Party STARTED OUT AS. The Tea Party was ALSO a NON-Partisan protest against the BANKERS and Politicians. Then Sara-JUDAS-ISCARIOT-Palin MIS-led them into the arms of the neocons. Palin (and her NEOCON PIMPS) SOLD the Tea Party for 30 pieces of silver. So all you morons who THINK you are conservatives need to go study how the neocons were INVENTED by LEFTWING TROTSKITES (Irving Kristol & Co.)

Sarah Palin is nothing more than an over glamorized prom queen. Not only did Paulson and Bush put up a 3 page document to get billions for the banksters, (THEY DIDNT HAVE TO PAY IT BACK). The bill Obama put out MADE them pay it all back with interest...damn republicans are really stupid, and ignorant people...they dont believe we have video on them.

At a republican party rally in Florida, she tells OWS protestors to join the tea party as the only acceptable form of protest. Because the tea party is such an effect force for change? So....is she tea party or republican? Or just whatever will pay her to speak?

The end of the tea party was deciding to pay this political mercenary. A true sign the party has been co-opted by corporate interest. She has no political experience, no political views. She doesn't read newspapers or books. She is an under educated air head animating a dress suit and glasses. How blind to reality does one need to be to sit and listen to her speak on anything other than the weather or sports?

"Protesters want bailouts"? WRONG, dummy. Protesters want JUSTICE AND ENFORCEMENT OF FEDERAL AND STATE STATUTES CONCERNING STOCK MARKET AND BANKING FRAUD. THEY ALSO WANT THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL BANKING AND MONEY ISSUANCE SYSTEM BACK. Send in the Marines to dispose of this filth sucking the remainder of lives' blood from the American economy. START AT THE TOP OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH AND THE FBI. Congressional mewlers and prancers next to fool the banksters into replacing as much loot as they can before we can put them all on chain-gangs and pay their 'grand patron' a visit.

I'm convinced SP is being kept around and promoted so friends of her promoter can take her for a test drive as well. After the interview in front of the turkey sacrifice, it is evident that she is an oddly marketed commodity. 'I'M LOST' sign taped to her back and all. She should stay in character by accessorizing her wardrobe for speeches like the RiPOfF convention by adding ducttape patches to the elbows of her faux leopardskin coat. It would imply financial desperation and a message that she would do things better than other dressed up candidates would for the same money.
Nov 5, 2011 at 6:38 PM | Unregistered CommenterHoward T. Lewis III
Howard T. Lewis III, proud spokesman of left leaning lunatics now wants to send in the Marines to rout out most of the government and the bankers, and where would that leave us, proud Howard? More than likely most of us would end up living like the stupid demonstrators, in squalor in the cold and in the dark. Speaking of in the dark, proud Howard imagines there is a simple answer to the nation's economical problems but obviously doesn't understand it's because of profligate government spending, the banks didn't legislate the bailouts and bank presidents didn't sign the bills the Congress dreamed up, dictator Barack Obama, the 1st, signed them. Proud Howard, wait until next year when whoever is paying your way will have to commence paying into Obamacare two years before one soul gets medical under its provisos. Forget sending in the Marines, have the local authorities send in bulldozers and level the tent cities, if those stupid occupiers choose to be ground up under the tread of bulldozers, so be it, they are a waste of life and breath anyway. People with any knowledge of the 1930s will remember that General MacArthur was tasked to remove actually needy people, veterans of WWI, from their squalid tent city, but don't look for dictator Barack Obama the 1st to order something so harsh. He'd be more likely to order McDonalds children's meals for that scruffy bunch that make up the ranks of the occupiers, and they would get a toy as a bonus.

Clayson, your logic systems are devoid of sufficient data for the name calling and are more dedicated to your flights of fancy than any sort of educational benefit for anyone. Left/right is CFR bullshit for their contrived two-sided nitwit debates, which invariably FAIL.

MacArthur was following orders. We have NO Attorney General to speak of, and most likely need a constitutional tune-up to revive the processes which drew the best in the world to this country to make it work. Eric Holder, Jr. is what you call a 'shill'. Your exclusionary logic processes preclude useful input from you. My logic processes are inclusive, but this forum, as great and beneficial as it is, of course must be limited in length of content due to space constraints. I would like to be able to provide more.

Believing in Sarah Palin should be accompanied by some sort of self-disclaimer due to self-abuse and personal rejection, at least. I used to have a big time crush on Diana Ross and The Supremes. I still do. They could sing like the angels and Diana Ross is supernatural. What does Sarah Palin do besides spin around in the middle of the room with that 'I'M LOST' sign taped to her back. She DOES NEED rescuing. Her manager would have you thoroughly beaten if you tried to rescue her, believe me. They sacrificed a turkey right behind her during an interview on TV once. Blood all over the place. I got their message.

You ignore my message and spout as if suffering from rhetorical incontinence. Your grasping at possible reasons for my words to mean something else reflect your fading cries for help in 'Sarahland'. A large number of the financial industry deserve extensive prison sentences and wealth confiscation. I have been watching the financial industry over the past 25 years decay from a basis for creative enterprise to wholesale looting by Bush worshipping dead duck investors without other father figures in their lives. The stock market is not a trout farm for the financial industry to 'catch the big one'. It was designed to channel funding to progressive innovation in technologies, food production, etc.. Now, investment houses have no compunction against flat-out stealing. That is illegal.

Do you know what stealing is Vernon Clayson? I have it from good authority, deceased now, that many of the investors discovered dead from 'falling out of windows' or shooting themselves in the head' did not 'fall' and did not 'shoot themselves' after the 1929 crash. They were done by pros after their clients discovered they had been kept in the dark about the impending doom of the 1929 crash, which was set up to occur, while many of the rich had been advised and cashed out. Wall Street investors are doing it again, and the usual 'cashing out/investing' ratio in the stock market by CEOs is usually less than 1/40 during the last few years. These Wall Street moron self-proclaimed 'predators' need to milk the middle class clients to pay their own bills in the form of embezzlements in the guise of 'limited returns' and 'unfortunate losses'. You getting nervous there Clayson? Maybe you have clients who have questions for which your answers will fall disgustingly short. My debts are less than $1,500 and I feel fine. I help my neighbors and we can see you and your ilk. You better lose at least as bad as your clients if that is indeed the reason for your apparent neurosis. Play it safe. You are not at the trout farm.

Dream of Palin spinning around in the middle of the room with the 'I'M LOST' sign stuck to the back of her sweater if you wish. That won't help you. Good serious people who have invested with honorable intentions are being mocked by loud mouth financial industry crooks with BAD problems ahead. I wish for a speedy recovery by Marine Scott Olsen. Semper fidelis.

Politicians conveniently forget a lot of things. They're so busy trying to promise the most candy that they forget that the money they want to spend, doesn't exist. The people discovered that they could vote themselves largess from the public treasury, and it's been off to the races, ever since.

You're right, George, imo.

But that's not a debate we can afford right now. The people of the U.S.A., who've been mulcted for at least $3.8 trillion, require justice first. This means that perpetrators like Angelo Mizooli need to be seen being publicly escorted to prison in Chino.

Winter will be good for @Occupy. It'll come back with greater focus, probably 5 times as many people, and with one specific geographic target to kick off the longest hottest summer of them all.

Unified, Americans are always a factor, a fucking force to be reckoned with. #Occupy succeeded in its mission: Americans have taken note.
