Why Were Bomb Sniffing Dogs At Start & Finish Lines?

Interview with college coach who noticed things weren't normal before the race.

Boston Police: "Don't worry, it's just a training exercise."

The Boston Police Chief has admitted that police were conducting drills, and we already knew there was a huge paramilitary, anti-terrorism presence on scene.  Now we hear of bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines, spotters on nearby roofs, and repeated announcements over the loudspeaker that runners and spectators "shouldn't worry, because this is only a training exercise."

We are simply raising the possibility that the police were tipped about a bomb threat, and they chose to not inform the public.

It wouldn't be the first time.

Coach Saw Bomb Sniffing Dogs, Roof Spotters, Police Drills Before Explosion

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.

"They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it's just a training exercise," Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.

Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He's been in plenty of marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security before.

"Evidently, I don't believe they were just having a training exercise," Stevenson said. "I think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in."

nobody seems to want to talk about the guy int he wheelchair who's legs were allegedly 'blown off' but in reality, were blown off in Afghanistan as he was in fact Capt. Vogt, not just some victim. Notice he is not bleeding profusely and for his rather 'cadaver dessicated' legs, he's not screaming or writhing in pain and clearly not shot up with morphine or he'd be in LA LA land and head lolled over.

so how much more do you morons need to see that THIS WAS IN FACT A STAGED HOAX????

no blood dripping from his wheelchair onto the pavement? give me a break. THIS IS MORE SANDY HOAX and TUCSON HOAX and AURORA HOAX crap.

We know people who were there in Boston. This is not a hoax. This is very fucking real.

Pay no attention to the dancing Israelis here to "document the event."

I think its odd, why don't anyone speak apon the libary exsplosion? normally you would see the scene on the news and get imformation to see if anyone was injured?

Yes, Boston and Waco, both government sponsored.
Huge military presence, scheduled 'drill', changing stories, media bias, etc., etc.

However, I think the REAL bomb targets are the 2 internet bills being pushed through the Senate right now.

My career takes me to the biggest events in the world. Every single one has EOD dogs & officers at key points. And there are always plainclothes officers, CST teams, tactical teams, etc all over these events. I don't really understand why this is even a question. I'd have a lot more concern if they were NOT there. Just grasping at straws looking for something that's not there. Get offline and out of your basements for a few hours and feel the sun on your face.

No one is saying the bombing is a hoax. What is being said is all the "evidence" and other stories permeating the mainstream media are NOT TRUE,or suspect. That is the HOAX!
Go ahead, believe your government...
Do so at your own peril.
Keep believing its lies at yiour own peril

I understand. And I am reporting all aspects of the story. I was responding to what I thought was someone implying that the injuries were fake and that the bombing was staged theater.

From the beginning I have reported on the FBI's history of involvement with potential bomb plots.

I agree with you. However, the level of security overall, and the huge presence of bomb dogs leads one to question the possibility that the police were tipped. That's all I'm saying here -- that maybe police did receive a bomb threat, and they simply didn't tell the public.

Capisce?

In responding to a question about prior knowledge, the Boston mayor (or police chief) responded that they did not have "specific, credible information that an attack would take place" or something like that. But he def said "specific, credible" as a qualifier. Why not just answer, "No, we didn't have any prior knowledge." Just the language suggests that something was up.

In any case, if they didn't have any idea, and all the manpower on the scene was just routine, then it's been shown to be a complete waste of time and money. They probably don't want that meme getting traction, either.

Wow. I noticed EXACTLY the same thing. That's why I posted this clip.

http://dailybail.com/home/boston-police-chief-there-was-no-specific-threat.html

I don't know if you've seen it. Runs just 30 seconds.

I'm going to massage your comment into that story.

Oh, I just saw it and watched it. He said "no specific intelligence" (no use of "credible" -- I think I misheard on Tuesday or whenever I heard it).

My wife thought the same thing. Reminds us of our recent experience dealing with the local powers that be and their use of language in terms of what they did and didn't know.

Black ops/false flag no doubt. Boston is on PoliceState lockdown? Leaves me wondering where all those "Boston partriots" are at. Oh wait, they're on their knees obediently doing whatever THE AUTHORITIES tell them to do.
What an unAmerican outrage.

"Why not just answer, 'No, we didn't have any prior knowledge.'?"

Because that's an honest answer to a straightforward question, and all of these scumbags are thoroughly coached in how to avoid answering by responding to a question that wasn't posed. It starts at the top, by the way. Watch what happens to Eric Holder when he tries this ploy on questions about drones with someone who's hip to the game (a former U.S. Supreme Court justice clerk)...

Even with highly skilled examiner, it takes 3 minutes and 40 seconds to get a yes/no answer.

Cheyenne, that's the other thought I had (and maybe that's not what you're implying), but it may have just been "liar's reflex" that caused the word "specific" to come out there. Maybe there's nothing behind it at all except a bag of wind politician (and big-city police chiefs are politicians).

IF we had a real media, they'd ask, of course.
Apr 19, 2013 at 5:50 PM | Unregistered CommenterDr. Pitchfork
My experience questioning witnesses is consistent with what we saw this week when some reporter asked an official whether this whole event was just another false flag terror event manufactured in order to cut back on people's freedoms: the answer "NO" came immediately and without qualification.

People dance around questions when providing an honest yes/no answer doesn't suit their purposes. When an honest yes/no doesn't conflict with their purposes, they answer without dancing.

That "specific threat" qualifier is so hopelessly vague that it's a giant red warning flag pointing at the real answer.

The event was real enough, but it looks like another case of the spooks allowing, even ensuring it happens, to further their own private agenda.
