DailyBail in anger, bailouts, congress, congressional video, deficit spending, protest video, town hall, voters, wall street
What do Democratic naysaying pundits think about this one? Not so easy to dismiss as an organized, astroturf attack when the target is a Republican. More townhall wisdom from the heartland. This is not partisan, folks. Or shall I say it's anti-partisan.
I've had a sneaking suspicion the health care town hall revolts were much more real than they've been labeled by Obama supporters, and this action adds credibility to the thesis. Commentary below is from James H:
A restless "mob" from Travelers Rest, South Carolina who know what's going on. They mix it up quite aggressively -- TARP, health care, the deficit, and a whole bunch of WE DON'T TRUST YOU.
An upset grandmother says the TARP was unconstitutional and that they're making us a "slave" to the nation that loans us the money (China). Bravo.
And an Iraq vet says they have to "yell to get through your thick, bureaucratic skulls" and tells his rep to tell the rest of the GOP to "shut up and listen for the first time to their constituents."
Oh -- and the guy making the clip asks the rep about Hank Paulson, Brad Sherman and threats of martial law. He even goes after the congressman after the town hall is over and asks him if he thinks Brad Sherman was lying when he spoke on the House floor about martial law.
