NASA’s launch last Thursday was the end of an era – the final mission for space shuttle Discovery.

Software developer Neil Monday was on a commercial flight out of Florida when he captured Discovery’s path and rocket into orbit.

• "Flying from Orlando, FL I had the rare opportunity to be able to watch Discovery's final launch as it embarks on STS-133."
