Fox Video - Paul discusses Solyndra, Cheney, Iran with Neil Cavuto - Sep. 14, 2011
Cheney portion of the clip begins exactly at the 2:40 mark.
Dick Cheney recently balked at Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, saying “There are nominees that I’m not enthusiastic about. They haven’t gotten the nomination, are not likely to get the nomination.”
Today, Ron Paul joined Neil Cavuto to respond, saying, “We have to prove him wrong by winning some elections. But when he says he’ll support all Republicans except some, like myself, which means that he wants to be the dictator and say, ‘I will decide who is a true Republican or not.’ And, I say he doesn’t have that authority. The people have that authority.”
Paul also clarified his position on the potential for Iran to get nuclear weapons, saying that while he doesn’t like the idea of Iran having a nuclear weapon, he wonders why Iran would be more dangerous to us than the Soviets when they had 30,000 weapons.
